  1. Hi all

Currently waiting for my EAD, and it should be here in the next 3 weeks.

Does the 90 days start on the Received Date (3/22/06), or the NOA Date (3/27/06)?

Im taking it as the NOA date to be safe. Will they issue me with an interim card i go for an infopass 91 days after received date?

Has anyone got an interim in this way?

    Thanks

    Andy

  2. Hi all

Am currently awaiting approval for AOS, EAD, and AP with NOA1 dates of 3/27/06. My question is on the AOS application.

Received this email on the 12th of May:

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to

    Adjust Status

    Current Status:

On May 12, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent

Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER for

processing. Our office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER will send you a written

decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice

informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call

the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information

    about local office processing times.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status

results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from

USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National

    Customer Service Center.

    Then received this today:

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to

    Adjust Status

    Current Status:

On May 17, 2006, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to

Adjust Status was received here for processing. It is taking between 270 and 300

days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as

    processing is complete.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status

results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from

USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National

    Customer Service Center.

I live in Massachusetts so was surprised when California was mentioned. Can anyone confirm that this is normal activity and that how long can i expect processing to take. I was under the impression that the AOS didnt take that long?

    Thanks for your help

    Andy

    PS EAd now please

  3. Hi all

Just a quick question before sending the AOS package.

I have tax returns from 2006 and 2005 but not 2004. And i have W2 forms from 2006, 2005 and 2004. So I am missing just the 3rd years tax return.

Do you think this is enough evidence, with an explanation behind the misplaced tax return.

Has anyone had any trouble with not supplying enough Supporting Evidence with the Affidavit?

    Thanks

  4. Thanks for all the help guys. My local health centers tried to convince me that i hadf to go through the whole medical process again, but on the uscis website i found this doctor and rang him. He'd do it for $50 and this saturday. Was starting to get stressed but he said he'd been doing this for 25 years. So im happy.

Is it me, or does this sound like the doctors simply sign the document and make a quick piece of your money?

Well, its done now and i can sleep easy tonight!

  5. Hi all

Have a question. Am about to submit my AOS application and mostly there with the forms. One problem - the medical report. Had a medical last July (05) and came to the US in January 06 on a K1. So i dont need a new medical as its within a year. But i do need to submit a vaccination supplement. I do not have any official documents regarding my medical or vaccinations. I gave them to the consulate in London as instructed and then to the officials at the airport. Presumed they were forwarded on. I have a record of my vaccinations since birth from my doctor. Is that the evidence they need?

Have asked the uscis info line but they said they is no way they can check if there is a supplement in the medical thats been forwarded. I have 2 options - submit and hope they dont ask for a vacc sheet, or go to a doctor and get a supplement done. But i dont want to pay for a full medical?

Has anyone else had this problem, or have any assistance on this matter?

There always seems to be one thing that holds me up - am i alone on this?!?

    Thanks :)
