  1. Hi all! I'm pretty new to posting, but been following this thread since I filed my N400 application. I'm based in California (Central Coast), and I THINK my local field office is San Fernando Valley.

    Timeline:
I751 Filed Nov 3rd 2017, attended biometrics not long after

    N400 Filed Oct 23rd 2018, Attended Biometrics Nov 13th,

I751 Was transferred to NBC on Dec 21st 2018, what does this mean????

I called up USCIS today to try and get answer on where my case is at, the representative told me I was waiting in line for an interview, however that doesn't show up anywhere in My USCIS Account or in USCIS My Case Status on their website. Where is she getting this information from?! She said it has been in their system like that since December.

Does anyone have any insight? I just want my damn citizenship so I can apply for the Air Force and get the job I want!! Haha

  2. Hi all,

I've lurked on these forums for months and finally need some advice. I'm getting ready to file I-751 but do NOT have a physical green card as it went missing overseas in December 2016, I immediately filed an I-90 but they are so backlogged. I'm STILL waiting to receive it but it could be a while (Current processing times are in Sept 2016, so still 3 months out from me). I'm expecting my I-90 will be approved in Nov/Dec

Anyway- I can file my I751 Mid October and I'm already worried about not having enough supporting evidence. But my major concern is I do not have a physical green card, nor do I have anything besides a picture of the front of green card before it went missing, I don't have a back copy (my PC died and it wasn't backed up, luckily had a photo of the front on husband's old phone).  Everywhere I've read you have to submit front and back copy of card.

Another thing I need advice on- if I file I-751 at 90 days before GC expires, and my I-90 to replace hasn't been approved, will it cancel it and I won't get my physical GC because it's so close to expiration? If that happens, I will get the stamp to travel. But, I'm just worried because then when I want to file next October 2018 for N400, I doubt i will be able to because I will have NO physical green card or real copy.....

Filed I-90: December 2016 (Still pending and only processing Sept 2016 currently, so I expect another 3-4 month wait)

Filing I-751 October 2017 (Will this cancel my I-90? I don't want to not file my I-751 to close to deadline but also I want physical green card back even if it will expire so soon)

    Filing N-400 October 2018 ???

I feel like I'm in such a difficult position with my I-90 hoping to be approved so close to I-751 filing time. I've dreaded this moment since my GC went missing and now having to face reality head on.

Any advice anyone can provide will be great. I have spoken to a few immigration lawyers in my area who honestly have no idea what to do either, alot of them said I know more about the process than them :(

  3. I missed my appointment on Monday 18th May due to reasons I dont want to go into, just a huge panic on both fiance and my side. We contacted them several hours before to let them know wouldn't be attending,so its not like we didnt just show up.

However we have now emailed multiple times on the reschedule appointments page, I have handwritten a letter AND my fiance emailed the US citizens email london contact. We have not had ANY response. I am very worried. We wanted to reschedule to later on in the year when we could afford all the AOS stuff.....

    Any info would be great.

  4. Hi,

My fiance had a huge doubt last night and said he wanted to split up, in the end he agreed to take a step back, as we have been arguing and distance is destroying us.

My interview is on Monday 18th May at 13.00, so Next week!!!! I agreed to go out to visit in June and September and as far as we aware we are putting the visa "on hold" while we sort our issues.obviously i cannot do the interview on Monday and then go.visit without getting married.

Is there a way to ask the embassy to maybe push my application back and resume in say 6 months time? Or is this not a possibility? Will we have to forfeit our entire visa progress?

So scared I will lose my boyfriend now, I am panicking

  5. Hi all, I have been following VJ for a long time as a closet reader but now I am worried about something to do with DS160 and CEAC at London embassy

Basically my CEAC doesn't update at all, it says "no status"

I filed for my DS160 on 16th January, I submitted my application for readiness on 3rd February, and my medical appointment is next Tuesday (the 17th). I have received the packet 3 off them stating to do medical and follow instructions, but I presumed my CEAC would have updated by now? Or does it wait till AFTER they get readiness forms AND medical results? I am so worried something has gone wrong!!!!!

I am hoping to have my visa interview appt. and fly out by mid April. I hope something hasn't gone wrong to prevent this.

    Thanks

    Camilla
