  1. Usually stays in AP for just a day or 2. But its all normal processing.

    Congratulations. Mercies Journeys to you.

    Thank you,

Also I wanted to ask and maybe other Nigerians would find this question helpful too, With the new restrictions Dubai has placed for Nigerians coming into Dubai. Do you have any knowledge or information of how that effects those that want to book through Emirates with a layover in Dubai for our husbands and wives coming to join us in the US?

My husband and I have been looking for potential flight and see that Emirates is offering a nice affordable rate but I'm skeptical of my husband flying into Dubai on the connecting flight. Will they turn him back or deny him entry into the country if he is on a connecting flight to US?

  2. UPDATE: Checked CEAC and as of today it says " Administrative Processing" hope it wont take long before the visa is issued. The CO told my husband that it would be ready in two weeks from his interview date (Dec 3). Hopefully if they are working on it now it should be issued sooner (God willing)....

Does anyone know whats the average turnover time for administrative processing at Lagos, Nigeria?

  3. congratulations

    thank you :joy:

    Congratulations! :joy:

I love it when VJ members let us all know the results of their interview. I hate it when we become interested in another VJ member's progress, then the day of their interview they just vanish...no more updates, nothing more on their timeline, and we're left wondering if that person is okay.

Thank you, same herei think it is important to relate experiences which can help others in their journey

    Congrats :)

    Thank you :joy:

  4. APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!! Hubby had his interview this morning at Lagos Embassy and was approved....we are so happy and excited, according to my husband the interview went quick (2mins) he was asked a few questions. He also mentioned that the CO stated that the way I packed the documents was exceptional. My husband was asked the following and told to pick his visa up in 2weeks. He did mention that the wait was very long his interview was scheduled for 8am but didn’t get interviewed until after 1pm

    Who petitioned for you?

    What does your wife do?

Where and what did you wife study in college?

What type of wedding did you do?

How many siblings does your wife have?

    How many siblings before her?

    How many boys and girls?

She asked for the original birth certificate and police clearance and told my husband that he is approved.

Hubby stated the lady was very nice and didn’t even ask to see pictures or any of our correspondences.

  10. Dwheels76: when can my husband expect an interview date from Lagos ? Seems like they are moving slow . Haven't been seeing/hearing much news from fellow filers waiting for interviews at Lagos embassy. I have a January PD which I thought should move me up in line of getting an interview. Does my husband even have a chance at getting a November interview at this point?

    PD: January 28

    Scan Date: August 31

    CC: September 22

    Interview Date: ???

*No RFE through my whole process ☺️*
