Congratz. I would suggest to wait until interview to book the flight because in some cases, they ask for random document to be submitted again. My friend's wife did not bring AOS documents because it was not required or mentioned anywhere on the interview letter so the process got delayed for two weeks.

My CC and interview date both were on 22 October. Actually I didn't mind my interview after 2 months because my wife has to attend his cousin's marriage in December anyway but one of my friend had his interview in only 20 days. I do not know how they do this, but hope for the best. Not to mention tickers in December...

Congrats Seema, For India, it seems they are scheduling interview after 2 months unless I am a special case. Strangely, I got cc and interview on same email. My Interview is on 23rd December.

I received affidavit of support fee invoice but in the cover sheet, it requires me to put police certificate along with other documents. Is it a mistake or do I have to send all the documents at once. I only received an email containing one fee($120). The main problem I have is we do not have police clearance certificate because they FREAKING require my name in passport to issue a police clearance certificate!!!!!! This process is going to take 1 month to 2 month so I was hoping to send AOS first then by the time invoice is generated for IV package, we would not have wasted that much time preparing the PCC....

Any clarification on this would be great! Thank you all

The banks provide notary service to their customers at no charge because they make money off the banking. They don't do it for free for everyone.

Why would you expect free service for this?

Some banks including the one I have do it for free. It just depends on whether bank is busy or not at the moment you walk in. It is pretty expensive in UK though!

The whole NVC process seems to be slow because of online issue but I think I will be fine after NOA2. I will go online route first! Thanks TimesTravel & TeJoGB

Is it possible to get PCC right after noa 2? If so what documents will be needed and how do I apply?

I told my wife to inquire but she said you need inquiry from Visa(Prob from NVC) to get PCC from local office.

Is this true?

hello Vjs today my wife recived a weird letter from USCIS reagrding the inqury we asked why our I130 case not approved yet and they sent her reply that she will have a interveiw call from local memphis field office within 240 days wow my question is why would she will have interveiw ? we just asked simple question its been 5 months and case has not been approve...

anyone faced the similar issue or can advised what does it mean.

I think something is off here. The interview call is one of the last steps in this process. Call them again and confirm this bias with another employee working for USCIS. If another person gives the same statement, I am afraid your case is unique and I have no idea! ><

Finally approved!!! PD is 1/12/2015

The timing on approval was bit off from their estimation date but it should not take more than a month from estimated 5 month approval date for the rest of the cases

I called them to ask about how this stupid system works where people from later dates are getting approved in same visa center. They said it depends on lot of factors like who is looking at your case, where the file is(we all at NSC so that doesnt make any sense) and others. As for others, she did not elaborate!...

At first I thought files move unofficially based on countrywise along with PD but it does not look like it either! IT IS COMPLETELY FREAKING RANDOM!

Can't do anything but wait but it is frustrating ><
