Hello
I need to send a packet of financial and supporting documents to nvc..
I am from korea and have to mail it only.
I have two question..
according to nvc, I shouldn't send a confirmation page which has a bar code but seems like people send it with their packets.
Should I include that? I put the case number on the cover letter. that's enought?
another question is, according to nvc, you must bring photographs to the visa interview.
Do I still need to include photographs into the packet? or just bring them to the interview?
I got email and it does not say about photographs
thank you so much

hello
I live with my parents and my father, who got retired, is the petitioner for my sister living in Korea.
I am going to be a joint sponsor for my sister.
in this case, am I going to file i864 or i864a?
The sponsor must complete Form I-864 and each household member must complete Form I-864A.
when they say "each household member", it means "all family members living together" or family members, who are father and mom, in their tax files?
Thank you

it is "F1" . i didn't know that I could choose my agent over the phone. My father is my petitioner who got a stroke with right arm and leg not moving. My brother will be my agent.
In this case, who should call? my father or me or my brother? my father is not able to speak any language well

I need to turn in a ds- 261 form to change my agent before I pay aos and an applications fee..
the link for a ds-261 online from on state has been down for a few days..
Is there other way to turn in the form except online?
one more question
after I pay the fee, can I change the agent?
thank you
-
thank you for your advice but the link for ds261 form on state.gov not working...
-
I got email from my agent.. Now I need to pay Affidavit of Support and
IV Application Processing Fees:$120+ $325
Before I pay the fees, can I change my agent with ds 3032?
Long story to short, they got the mail to pay the fees 6 months ago. However, they forgot to tell us by saying "we couldn't contact you."
I am afraid that if I pay the fees, all the important applications will be delivered to them without me knowing that.

hello...
I have three questions.
my parents are us citizen living in the us and I live in Korea.
1. they are about to turn in form i485. does it have to include i693 and my medical info things? or can I turn in the form with my medical info things during the interview?
one more question
2. I don't have an approval letter of i130 but I know that I got approved. I do not want to spend $400 for i 824 form.
Can I turn in my packet without an approval letter?
3. when do I need to hand in my background record about criminal things ? with i485 or during the interview?
thank you so much for your advice

I have one more question.
How can I turn in form i 693 which is the " report of medical examination"
can my parents turn i485 without the i693 and my sister hands in during the interview?
thank you again

Hello..
my parents are us citizens and they applied for a i130 form for my 30 year-old sister who lives in South Korea a little over 11 years ago..
now the time's almost up..
When my sister apply for a i485, does she need to apply and submit to the us consulate in Korea? or mail the form to the ucsis in the U.S?
my friend says that my sister can apply for a i485 one year before the actual approval. Is it true?
thank you for your advice

this is the link about my previous questions.
As I promised, I will post the result...I sent all my documentation on 02/03/2015.
about 3 weeks later I got a notice for fingerprints.
in april, I scanned my fingerprint and two weeks later I got a notice for redoing fingerprint due to the failure of my sweating palm
I got rescheduled, took more time for fingerprint at the office and the guy who scanned my fingers said that i might fail again because I saw a lot of "rejections" on a montior screen.
However, I did not get any notice about my fingerprints and in june I got a notice for an interview appointment..
Today I got an interview with my dad who is a sponsor and interpreter
The interviewer said that I would get a green card in 2-3 weeks.
it took almost 5 months

" an approval notice that make a visa number immediately available to you" is the document in the photo?
-
again!! Thank you soooo much, aleful.
When you say a copy of the approved i130, it means " the document" in the photo?
I read the instruction and it says a copy of an approval notice that make a visa number immediately available to you
-
yes. I have been living in the US legally since I came..
so my case is a or b on part 2 of i485 ?
a. an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number has
been approved. (Attach a copy of the approval notice, or a relative, special immigrant juvenile,
or special immigrant military visa petition filed with this application that will give you an
immediately available visa number, if approved.)b.My Spouse or parent applied for adjustment of status or was granted lawful permanent residence in an immigrant visa category that allows derivative status for spouse and children.
one more question.. the instruction about i864 says that the sponsors need to turn in 6 month pay stubs.. Do I have to? some people say that only 1 or 2 pay stubs are fine

When it was applied, I was in USA..
I realized that my father was not a citizen at that time . He had a green card only.
I am South Korean.
Thank you so muuuuch for your replies.

right now I am 29 yrs old. I am still in a valid f1 status. i130 was applied on June 28,2007 in USA.
When it was applied, I was 22.

hello..
I am looking for your insight.
I came to the U.S 5 or 6 yrs ago as a b-2 visitor and changed my status as a f1 student.
My dad got an American citizenship about 7 yrs ago and he applied for i-130 for me . Now I got approval.
Because my dad has been retired, my sister is going to be my sponsor.
I need to send the forms of i485, i765. i864, g325a for a green card myself.
Now I have two questions.
I have to choose one of the check box for my situation on part 2 of i485.
a. an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number has
been approved.
Now I got confused which one I have to pick?
Thank you so much

2. Is there any specific binder or folder required to be used or can you recommend one?

in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
Posted
hello
I received an email from the uscis and got scheduled for an interview..
the letter marks "Y" on financial evidence and photographs
Y says " The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate"
I already sent those documents so
I don't have to carry those documents, right?
