Been reading this forum for a while and it's been really helpful, hope I can get some guidance on my case and that it will help others in the future!
Here's my background: I got residency through marriage and recently submitted a I-751 to remove conditions and get a 10 year green card, but recently received a Request For Evidence RFE for the following reasons:
Tax returns submitted but not complete. Asking to submit all required schedules, statements and W-2 attachments of our Federal tax return.
What is the correct way to attach our returns? I read it was http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript and get "tax return transcripts" for the years in question, then attach any W-2's we have?
Not submitting a joint bank account statement
We have separate bank accounts, and like to keep our finances separate. All I can send the statements for our shared credit card account. Should I explain this in a cover letter?
Old electric bill, please submit current bills
The bill was for a previous residence, at our current residence my spouse is not on the lease and neither of our names are on the bill. I can put my spouse on the telephone bill and attach next months bill if that helps?
I'm only on a lease with my two other roommates, and we were also living apart for a while, not an ideal situation.
We hope to move soon and be able to get on the same lease, but probably need to send the RFE reply before that. Please advice

Thanks for the suggestions! My comments:
1. Filing a 2014 return is a great idea but a no go as we're planning to file separately for financial reasons (we'd get a huge tax penalty for filing jointly).
2. The reason for not having a joint bank account is simply that we like to keep our finances separate. Modern times!
3. Can ask the person on the bill to write an affidavit, great idea
Hoping to avoid a second interview, even though we are legit, we've had some rocky patches and you can never know what happens in a marriage :/
