  1. I forgot to say, if you can, do your vaccines in your hometoen in USA, thats what we did, the Public Health Clinic usually knows which ones you should get for immigration, it will be a lot cheaper. Then just bring the shot record with you to the Medical Clinic you chose, I recommend the Clinica Medica Internacional, its very professional and in a very big, modern building with a beautiful mural inside!

Also, my husband said that once you go into Consulate, they first check your papers you have in hand and sort them out to see which ones they need, then they clamp them together and keep them. Then they will send you to go sit in either the Green, Blue or Yellow seats to await your interview. If you get sent to the Green Chairs its good! It means you are not lacking any paperwork, etc. he said they called him up asked about 3 questions - anniversary date, spouse name and if we have children, then typed up things for a while and then Felicidades, you have been Approved and handed him the Green Slip!!!!

  2. I just want to say that I dreaded coming to Ciudad Juarez to accompany my husband, Not because I didnt want to support him, but because everyone told us soo many bad things about it here. If you are about to have your appt, Dont Worry! It is actually really nice here, we have been out and about for about a week here and everything has felt pretty safe , we havent seen any suspicious people, etc. Also I wanted to say that we did all the paperwork ourselves, and eventhough everyone said we needed an attorney, it wasnt true, my husbands approval at consulate took about 20 min once he got into Consulate. We are soo happy, just come prepared, and come with your approved Waiver if you need it, we have met many here whos lawyers didnt send them with a waiver and they didnt get approved now they have to wait in Mex until its done :( i Highly recommend staying at El Conquistador. ! Hoping everyone Approvals and remember not only with immigration, but with Life in its Totallity--HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY, my husband and I are living proof of that! All Thanks to Jehovah God!

  3. Hi, the same thing happened to us, I called and the man on the phone explained to me that you cant schedule your fingerprint appt to much ahead of time, for you need to schedule it like a month ahead only, because they are soo busy they only do like a month at a time, but dont worry, they work so fast there that you are assured to get an appt, they take in a group about every 10 minutes and you will be out in about 10 min, thats how my husbands was last week. Have fun and Congrats!

  4. Hi, Im in Juarez now waiting for our DHL packet for my hubby. I would say play it safe and do Medical on Friday, I say so because my husbands appt was an 8:15 appt, he didnt finish until about 12 , so they had to give him medical pack the next morning at 10 am. He took so long because he had to see the psychologist, I guess they randomly send you there if you confess something they find fishy or you have tatoos, my husband only has 2 small tatoos, and he only used to drink and smoke sometimes as a teen, a long time ago, but he was sent there anyhow. Hence, to be safe, you should do Friday. Plus, contrary to what most people will tell you, its really relaxed here, we are here with our baby and we feel totally safe, we walk to mall all the time and we feel really good here.
