My fiance and I are getting married in The Netherlands this June. She is a resident there and I am a US cit. Does anyone know if the consulates in The Netherlands will do DCF? Their website has wording that seems like they will. My other question is rather broad and has to do with the immigration. Whether or not you use the DCF you still need to file the I-130 correct? Is the only difference that normally the I-130 is filed in the US and not the country the immigrant is coming from? If so the K-3 visa is only to allow the immigrating person to reside in the US while the I-130 is processed? Am I understanding this process correctly or am I way off base? Any help is greatly appreciated.
