Can you tell me if they request a new passport, how long does it take once they receive the passport to send it? Is it the same amount of time as it would be if they took it at interview?

On the police certificate, which one is a subject access...? my own they wrote "Us immigration". Is that ok?

Not really sure what them writing "US Immigration" means. But the subject access one is just that. It will say subject access on it. The other one just says police certificate. If you go on acro.co.uk you will see the two different tabs for them.

We sent an email inquiry on their website and they say they sent the letter October 20th so it must've gotten lost, anyways our interview date is November 23rd! So, December 19th is going to work out as long as he gets approved

I figured out how to check my case status. It says status updates to "Ready" on 10/14/15 and he had medical & submitted forms on 10/05/15 so I'm thinking this is when they received it? So technically today (11/05/15) was exactly 3 weeks from when they received so hopefully we'll hear something soon?

When we went to apply for police certificate we specifically asked for the one we needed for K1 and they gave us the subject access one (which I wrong) we waited 40 days for it when we could have had the correct one in 2 days and he would probably be here by now. Lol frustration all across the board here!!

From personal experience, they don't take wedding dates into account. In fact, not only did I mention our wedding date but the date I was due to leave England to go and spend a month with my mother in Greece before coming to the US and they gave me an interview date for after I was supposed to leave England. It's like they almost did it on purpose. I saw others had sent in their information after I had and somehow ended up with an interview before me. I was infuriating but the rest of the process was easy. Hang in there and be prepared to fly by the seat of your pants, literally. I had 2 weeks in the US before my wedding. This is what you get for trying to plan ahead to accommodate a big fat Greek wedding

I honestly wouldn't care if he got here 7 days before the wedding. I'm just getting nervous because it's been 4 weeks since medical and no packet 4 yet. I know it can take up to 6 but hopefully it would be within 2-3 weeks from they day packet 4 arrives. Cause he'd at least be here in enough time to get SSN & get marriage license in time for the wedding. I'm good with last minute things. And everyone knows our situation, I just want to know the date!

I've seen the data, it's interesting to look at but not really helpful because there are so many factors.

How they priotize is an unknown from what I know and have read. But it does sound that they do look at the date, otherwise why ask for it?

Is the wedding date a date you just "hope" too? Or have you booked things (which I think would be dangerous in timing).

You've done everything you can and now just need to wait for a letter, which is packet 4. You can email them on the embassy website to enquire saying you're worried with the wedding date.

We have intentionally not booked anything without free cancellation, so I'm not concerned about money. We have made everyone aware that the date could be moved. I just want to know the date already! That way I'll be able to estimate better. ☹️

My fiancé completed the medical and sent in the Ds-160 and notice of readiness form 10/05/15 and put or wedding date as 12/19/15. I've read a lot on here that they will take that into consideration. Should we be getting our packet 4 soon? I was expecting it to be here by now. I know it can take up to 6 weeks from notice of readiness/ds-160/medical I'm just wondering what other people on here think.

I had the same question.. As far as I know, most people get married after K1, apply for AOS and at the same time apply for work permit (EAD). Now you cant legally work till you get the EAD in hand, but Im going to anyway start applying half way through the 3 month wait time. Getting a job is rarely a quick process, so hopefully by the time I get some interviews, I will have my EAD. If on the off chance, I get a quick offer, I will just be honest and say my work permit will be here in next couple weeks.

Hey everyone! I don't know why it took me so long to find this website, but i did.. our case was received feb 9th and still nothing.. I's exciting to see feb is already being approved.. but i'm even more anxious now thinking something might be wrong? Is anyone else coming from Ireland?

My NOA1 date is February 5th. It's so sad that I haven't been approved yet I know my approval will be coming soon but it really has been a stressful 6 months. My fiancé, family, and friends have been keeping me strong through this long wait. I have been keeping myself busy planning what I can for the wedding, already have my wedding shoes, dress etc..

Hope TSC hurries up, I just want to be able to start my life soon and marry the love of my life.

NOA1 February 2nd, and we are still waiting. Happy for those who have gotten approved, but can't help but be frustrated, waiting for NOA2. ?

It's hard not to get frustrated and upset...my fiancé and I are together in UK until I have to go back to school in the States at the end of August...I just want to get a NOA2 so that I know it won't be long until I see him again when I have to leave. ?

My noa1 date is February 3rd and I haven't hear yet either! It's making me so anxious as it's almost been 6 months! Is there anyone else who has dates near the beginning of Feb who haven't hear back yet?

I've seen tons of people misspell their own names and nothing has happened so, I suspect it should be alright?

I just sent off my I-129F today and I think I put "U.S. Department for Homeland Security" instead of "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" on my money order and the address. Do you think that they will over look this seeing as it's only minor? I must have been so nervous that I wrote for instead of of.
