  1. I already submitted all the originals to NVC and they forwarded the docs to embassy. I was worried because I thought they need my original W2, too.

Perhaps they want to see my own AGI instead of the AGI from our tax transcripts because we always file joint and I'm sponsoring my mom on my own.

I will send her a copy of my husband's W2, too.

    Thank you!

  2. The answer is yes she can transit through S. Korean (30 day stay max) as long as she has an onward ticket. Here is their website to read more: http://www.hikorea.go.kr/pt/InfoDetailR_en.pt?categoryId=2&parentId=385&catSeq=401&showMenuId=375

  3. Hi everyone,

I filed a petition for my mom and it was approved. Now she would have an interview on June 2.

When I filed, I thought by sister is over 21 (stupid of me).

She was just 20 turning 21.

Is there any possible way, I could include her in my petition?

    Pls help.

    I need answers urgently!

  4. Hi,

Is there anybody out there who got CC'd this month and got their interview scheduled already?

I keep on calling but none so far.

    Thanks.

Thanks. I just got off the phone and CSR said that the scheduling for May interview has been completed and they would inform me once the schedule for June has been started. Perhaps I would call again in few days. I am hoping to get the schedule soon so I could re-sched it to May if there's an available spot in the embassy.

    Hi,

I got an email on April 15 2015 that all my documents necessary to complete the visa processing of my case has been received and I need to wait for the appointment to be schedule for the interview. Is that mean my case got completed ? And if my case got completed at NVC, in how many days I should receive the appointment letter for my interview at Mumbai consulate India ?

Yes and now you have to wait for them to schedule the interview date.

  5. yeah!!!! mr.madtownguy im the fiancee the beneficiary on what u comment i also told that to my fiancee and told him why they just don't do investigation about on me,or get an CI or do any spy on about me here at my place so they be know that i never been talk or seen that ####### father of my kids.......i wish so too mr.madtownguy that they just did that hire a investigator so they found out whats the truth or maybe u sir madtownguy can hire so they might enlighten that i never do lying to the CO ...... and ur wife is lucky to get aprroved and get an so cool CO unlike mine

The whole visa process is a pain. I went through an interview many years ago and the questions of the CO were really pretty basic, from how you met to where does he live or what he does for a living. I know you were probably nervous during the interview but somewhere along the lines, you've raised a red flag. As a result, the CO asked a kid. You know they said "kids don't lie".

My question is, what was the exact question did the CO ask your son?

Was it in Filipino language or English?

Again, I am not judging. Just want to know the whole story straight from the horse's mouth.

  6. Just got an invoice for IV application.

So updated info for my case:

    USCIS (Chicago Lockbox)

09/29/14 - sent I-130 for both parents (in one package)

    02/10/14 - they received both I-130

    NVC

01/08/15 - got an WELCOME LETTER (PAOSF) emails from NVC with NVC Case numbers and Invoce ID Nimbers (3 months 10 days from the day I-130 form was sent).

    01/10/15 - DS-261 Completed for both parents.

    01/25/15 - AOS bill paid

03/12/15 - IV Invoiced for IV application (and $325 paid).

So it took almost two months.

Still waiting for IV invoice. :clock:

  7. On the I-864 form. you will put your current annual income that is on your employment letter. Bonus and deductions are not guarantee and do not count when figuring annual income. You will not include the unemployment income for your current annual income . However you will need to include it on IRS tax form if you have not filed your taxes yet.

If you send in a tax transcript with the I-864 you do not have to include the w-2 or the 1099 forms. If you are sending in a copy of your tax form, you will have to include the w-2 and the 1099 forms

I know that I can't include unemployment in my current annual income since I am already employed.

I was talking about submitting 1099g (unemployment income 2014) with my W2 from the previous year (2014).

    I would just submit 1040a with 1099g and W2.

    Thanks

  8. yes i have read that too on their website, i got confuse because my friend that filed petition for her parents last year said that they were told to send the original certificates to NVC, but reading the website says just the photocopies and then bring the original to the embassy for interview, i guess i have to rely on what i read in the website.

I agree about the confusion. Although NVC website clearly stated that only photocopies of civil documents are needed, there are several instances where NVC sent an e-mail or letter requesting for the original documents to be sent.

I might just send them a set of original documents and photocopies.

Btw, we almost have the same NVC timeline.

  9. Hi,

I am using my own income for the AOS.

My employment offer includes "non-guaranteed" yearly bonus, although everybody really gets year end bonuses.

Last year, I got $x,xxx amount for bonus and have pay stub to show it. The employment certificate I have however, just have my annual salary.

Do I put the annual gross salary + anticipated bonus as income or just the annual salary?

Also, I received a month of unemployment last year (Jan 2014) since I started my current job on Feb 2014.

Do I include the 1099 unemployment income with my W2 in the AOS packet? My annual salary is above the guidelines.

    Thanks.
