He was planning to go back within the 90 days for his interview with the US embassy in Buenos Aires, we have yet to receive any papers for his interview, since it has already been submitted and just waiting on a date and time, we went to the immigration office with questions before we pay for a plane ticket back, and they told us there is a way to file here and he doesn't even have to return to Argentina, and to call the NVC. I have tried for the past 3 weeks to get through with no success. I was hoping someone has gone through the same process to point me in the right direction before his 90 days is up. Thank you for your help.

We moved here in the middle of December, he came here as a tourist.

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE LIVING IN ARGENTINA WHEN WE FILED HIS I-130, IT HAS BEEN APPROVED AND NOW WAITING ON HIS VISA, WE ARE NOW LIVING IN THE US AND OUR LOCAL IMMIGRATION OFFICE TOLD US THAT OUR NEXT STEP IS TO FILE THE IR-1 SINCE WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARS. I AM LOST AND WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS IS THE NEXT STEP, HE DIDN'T SEEM TOO CONFIDENT WITH HIS INFORMATION HE GAVE US. IF ANYONE CAN POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. HE IS WANTING TO WORK ASAP AND WE ARE AT A DEAD END.....
