  1. Interesting, I am dealing with exactly the same issue for a few weeks now! I created a case earlier, but no success. This is the reply I received.

After careful review of your inquiry, we determined that your issue will be best addressed by the Tier 3 Technical Support Team; therefore, we are forwarding your inquiry to them. We will contact you concerning your ticket when the issue has been resolved. We apologize for the delay, but further attempts of communications will unfortunately delay the progression of manually processing of your application.

I will give it another go in Internet Explorer tonight, but I'm afraid I have to call them again based on the messages here...

  2. Hi guys,

I'm immigrating to Denver, Colorado next month on a CR-1 visa. My wife has a car over there and we recently bought a small RV - ready for a big american road trip soon after we arrive! Now the question is, am I allowed to drive or not...

    1) I know I need to a CO drivers license. Reading the topics here I assume I need my SSN and a proof of address, in combination with a proof of address to be able to do the test and get a license. Is this correct? I already have an appointment made, but I don't think I will have the SSN in time... I definitely won't have a green card by that time.

    2) In the meantime, I would like to drive our 'shared' car during our road trip (multiple states). I have a valid Dutch drivers license. Is this allowed or not? I read about a 90-day rule, but is the insurance company OK with that as well? Maybe the state allows it but the insurance company doesn't?

During my earlier visits I have always just been driving around in her car, but I know wonder if that even was legal... It's all very confusing, your help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Rene
