Question to you all. I submitted a petition for my Step Son to immigrate here to the USA. My question to you all is after CEAC/NVC approved it and said it was being sent to Kenya... how long did it take to hear anything about an interview?   

Hello everyone, got a question. I have received my NOA 2 and have been to the NVC and got a case number, now it says it is in transit to the embassy where my fiancée lives but it says that the NVC has had an interview appointment for her. Does that mean she doesn't have to set it up or is that just what they put on the website so people don't ask?

How do I find out that the USCIS sent my paperwork to the NVC?

Just got a text message to check my case on USCIS and my petition has been approved. Now comes the wait for NVC and the embassy. I am so happy for this.

I have the hard copy of the NOA1 then. I received it on the 13th of Feb and the online shows they received it on the 5th of Feb. How should I up date my time line so it reflex's the correct date of NOA1? Should I put the date that they show as receiving it or the date I got the text message which was 10th of Feb?

I have received some form in the mail and I do have a case number. I am going thru the CSC so I know it will be some what fast but I haven't seen any movement on it and want to make sure it is right.... oh ya they have cashed the check also.

February filer here also. I sent the packet on the 4th of Feb and it was signed for on the 5th. I am waiting patiently for the NOA1 from CSC because I live in Arizona, the wait is killing me. I have been with my fiancée for 2 years now and we met in the hardest place to meet woman. We were both working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where she was a teachers aid and I was working on airplanes at their military base. It has been crazy waiting this time for the NOA's but I now it wont be long until I get to she her again. GOOD LUCK all of you and hope your process will be fast and you will be with the one you love soon.

Hey I have a question about the resident address for the I-129f. My fiancée can't remember the house address where she lived in Saudi Arabia and I can only find the area and not the house number and the street name is in Arabic and can't really read it. What do I do about this? We know the address of her employer but not her residence.

AZ is a no waiting period state. So it only pertains to me if I was still living in Nebraska?

ok thanks for the info. She will get him a passport when she gets back to her home country of Kenya. She is in Qatar right now working. One more question I was previously married and my divorce was final on 3rd of November 2014. I was divorced in Nebraska and I know the law says and the decree says I have to wait 6 months but I don't live in Nebraska anymore, I am a resident of Arizona now and have been since April of 2014. The question is do I have to wait the 6 months to submit the petition for my fiancée or can I do it now?

My fiancee has a 6 yr old son and we were wondering what we have to do because he doesn't have a passport yet but he wont be traveling with his mom to the states but he will be coming out later, maybe 1 to 2 years later. I know we have to list him on the I-129 and the G-325 but will we need to provide a passport at the time of her interview or can we just wait on that? The reason I am asking is that i talked to an attorney here in Arizona and she said to make copies of all his pages and include it in the I-129 packet, but he doesn't have a passport and his mom cant get him one until after she gets back to her home country. Thanks
