What sort of documents should I take. I really need to go back and read this whole topic. I'm so scared I'm not going to bring something that is very important.

Hello everyone, We have our DORA appointment set up on Oct. 16th. It's so good to hear there is other people who have done this before me. I'm a member of another immigration forum and there is a couple of us that are about to start this process but no one who has already been through it. So what can I expect when we go. It looks like most of you have got you K-1 first is there anyone with a K-3?

Thank you, for your help.
He doesn't have a shot record at all. He said he was given some shots when he was 10 or so.
On the I-693 there was 5 shot stamped off. TB, Measles, Mumps, Rubella and varicella. On the varicella it says that he had the illness @ age 10. She told him for his age that is all that was requiered.
Did you go through the pilot program?

Ok, My husband just came into the US on a K-3 Visa. He had his medical exam done on July 21, 2006, so I"m sure he doesn't need that again, RIght? We went last friday and had his shots taken they gave him only 2, they say that is all immigration requires? We are going to try and do the pilot program out of the Dallas office. We have our infopass appointment set up on Oct. 16, 2006. I will be typing up the form need this week.
What i'm looking for is other people who have gone through the pilot program and any info you can tell me. I will look around here but maybe someone could give me a link or something.
Thanks

scroll,
You can, and the USCIS might even process it. But when the approved petition gets to the consulate it will not be acted on. The purpose of the K3 visa is to allow the alien spouse to enter the USA to be with their USC spouse while an I-130 petition is being processed. By the time an I-130 petition reaches a consulate it has completed processing and the associated immigrant visa has already been applied for.
Note also that K visa applications are processed by the immigrant visa units of the consulates.

If the I-130 has already arrived at the embassy, can you still file the I-129f. The wait time for an appt in CDJ for an approved I-130 is at least 1 year.Thank you, Yodrak.
Thank you for posting this question for me. I'm so confused at to what to tell my friend. but it i understand correctly it will not be consider once it reachs the Consulate.

My husband has his Visa pick up appointment on Monday. I'm leaving tomorrow to go the Juarez and be with him over the weekend and then come back to the US together.

Well my husband and I both called last week and they said that we still was not approved and that it would be 7 more months before we could be approved. I can't beleive that, what makes us take long than everyone else. My husband has been in Mexico almost 2 year or it will be 2 years when or if his waiver is approved.

OK It's been a very long time since I have posted here. My timeline should be in my sig. My husband is still in Mexico and I don't know when he will be able to come back. We are waiting for the waiver to be approved right now. I think it should be any day now. Some people who filed their waiver just 2 days before us got their waiver approved on 2/21. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will call the DHS Monday 2/27.

martaprestegui, My husband had his interview just a day before you did and his waiver still isn't approved. I call today and they told me they was just now work on June's. I guess that was a lie. Why do they always do that. How did you know your waiver was approved? did you call or just wait till you recieved the letter in the mail? When are you expecting your next interview to be?

Ok I'm doing this on my own and I have a few question about some of the forms that need to be filed out.
1. On the processing sheet for Form I-485 it ask for Form I-94#. It says located on the petition approval notice. I'm not sure what this is. He has a I-94 and the only #'s I see on the are a departure # and another 5 d. #.
2. Do I have have to fill out the supplement A to Form I-485? The way I readed it I don't.
3. I live with my parents and I will be using my mother income as well for Sponsor. By reading these forms it sounds like I don't have to file out another Affidavit of Support I can do it all on one since we live in the same house. I'm I right on this?
