I hope you did not misunderstand me..There is a fee of $165 for processing of your plastic green card. This fee is applicable after visa approval only and you can pay it later online

Passport, Interview letter, Photographs, DS-260 Confirmation sheet (Necessary as they will stamp biometrics confirmation on this sheet) and clean hands

I don't mind the fee at all. I just want my husband here! Lol. He already did his fingerprints and all that. And he took all that you said. Not sure about the stamp. I'll ask him again. His interview is 16 hours away...

When we found out the date for the interview, time stood still. Now that it's super close, time is flying!

I encourage everyone to get your documents and everything you need a few days before your interview. Then every day before the interview, go through them with a fresh mindset and see if you need any more. I did that and bothered the ####### out of my husband with my non-stop talking.

Per your timeline you are CR1/IR1 then you are good. No fee required during the interview.

are you absolutely sure?!?? I'm still confused because I can't find anything when I search for "New Delhi embassy visa fee". But when I type in "New Delhi embassy visa fee $165" something comes up!

I would be so happy if there is not a fee... lol

is there a visa fee that my husband should worry about? how much is it and did I already pay for that? I know you're thinking, "How should I know?" Well I don't either.. lol

but I am worried. I have read everywhere and it doesn't state how much the visa fee is and if there is one at all (I'm sure there is). It did mention (somewhere) to take some money to the interview in case it hasn't been paid. I'm thinking this is the visa fee? but how come it is so confusing for me. It never said how much the fee is.

Quick question. For the people who have already gotten their visa, did you take any financial evidence with you to the interview? I remember with great detail that I sent everything to NVC.. from I 864 to pay stubs to the tax return transcripts. My husband is already on his way to new Delhi as I write this. So I need answers fast. You guys are great. Thank you.

For the couples who have already received their visa, please let us know how long it takes for it to come. Is it possible to receive it in hand or does it have to be mailed? Which method is faster? Thank you, everyone

Yea I called NVC. They said we have already transferred your case on Oct 3rd and once we transferred case we cannot answer you anything.

Our interview was tomorrow October 14th and we received call from us embassy that our interview is cancelled because they haven't received our case from NVC yet. I'm so confused and scared now. Please help me if anyone can and would be really appreciate it.

My husband's medical is on Oct 5th (Monday) in mohali and guess what our interview is on Oct 14th. I'm equally worried as you actually more than you now. Please let me know how did everything no and whenever you get back your reports. Appreciated.

You know what? My husband's medical was on the 3rd. At the hospital they said it'll be done by the 11th. They already called him and told him to pick it up today. So you'll have plenty of time.

Yes he's in Punjabi. And no. I recently found a new job and I can't afford to quit or take time off. Do you know how long it'll take for the visa? Some people say 1 to 2 weeks. Others are saying next day. And does it depend on whether you go in person to pick it up or have it delivered?

I know that the appointment letter states what we need for the interview but can someone break it down? For some reason I don't like trusting a piece of paper. USCIS and NVC has screwed me over a couple times so I'm done with that.

My wife did medical in Mohali last week. No one had posted reviews so we decided to take initiative and post our review (post# 536 above). We got report within a week.

Ok so I asked my husband to ask the Dr. Dr told him to come on the 11th. Again, medical was on October 3 and interview is October 16.

So far so good. Counting down the days
