  2. We reviewed your I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial documents. Even though requesting information is still missing, we will schedule your case for an interview. We will tell you when we have an interview date for your case. Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MANILA, PHILIPPINES about your interview until we give you the appointment date.

Either your Affidavit of Support was incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. This could affect the Consular Officer's ability to complete the visa interview.

We marked the missing items on the attached checklist. We strongly recommend that you correct the Affidavit of Support before the visa interview. Do not send any of the missing items to the NVC. Instead, send them to NAME so he or she can take them to the visa interview for the Consular Officer to review. If the checklist shows there are problems with the form, complete a new Affidavit of Support form and send it to NAMEbefore the visa interview.

If you need a new Affidavit of Support form, you can find it at uscis.gov/forms.

kindly help what is the meaning of this message from NVC

  4. Sorry I have to say it But NVC is the worst thing in the world I have ever encountered, they go out of their way to make your life

miserable. The only reason anyone should get a checklist for AOS is if their income cannot meet the mminimu requirement or if they cannot prove income. Not because of nonsense like leaving a box blank or because you did not put N/A in a box. Even if anything is wrong with an application it can be fixed with a simple phone call or email, absolutely no reason to drag it out and make everyones life miserable. In the end it not only hurts the petitioners and their families but the NVC and their backlog. It is just utter nonsense and it is a damn shame that none of us can do anything to call NVC out of their BS. There is nothing we can do to change this.

    true! (:
