    In Pakistan Urdu Marriage Certificate (Nikkah Nama) is consist of 4 similar pages and we call them (Pert) in Urdu. And at the time of marriage signatures of groom and witnesses etc are needed on all four parts.

    Officially Nikkah Khawan (Molvi) submits one original copy (duly signed by all witnesses etc) in Office of Marriage Registrar at the time registration. If you are sure that marriage was properly registered and issued Urdu Marriage Certificate at that time then you can obtain preserved copy of Nikkah Nama from the Office of Marriage Registrar. You might be asked to provide Names, Date of Marriage and name of Molvi to track data from old records.
