  1. Hello,

The same thing happened to me during my first biometric appointment. A few weeks after the appointment, I got a letter for a second biometric appointment because FBI rejected my fingerprint.Apparently, this happens a lot with ladies from warmer climate because the smaller finger + dry skin in the winter makes it hard to get good prints. For my second biometric, I followed some tips I read online and got perfect fingerprints. Here are the tips:

    1. Moisturize your hand everyday for at least 2 days before the biometric appointment.

    2. Moisturize your hand the night before - before you go to bed

    3. On the morning of your biometric appointment, do not touch any shampoo/soap that will dry up your fingers. Do not use moisturizer in the morning as well because that might make your finger too greasy.

  2. Hey when did you do your first biometric appt? I'm a bit worried because the guy who did mine was distracted by a co worker and skipped a step I think

Did my fingerprinting on the 6th. My fingerprint has always been hard to get because I have tiny fingers. During the biometric appointment, they were having trouble getting one of my finger so they override it and say "we'll come back to that later", but after we did the rest, he did not go back to it and said it is all good. I am really annoyed now, I should have said something and insisted that they get that one fingerprint right. My new appointment is in the middle of march, I might try to walk in tomorrow and see whether they will do it tomorrow.
