Yes I booked it. He will be coming on Monday. What state do you live in? Im actually in Dallas Tx. The flights went crazy last week and we got lucky to get a decent flight on the 21st.

I just checked the passport status it states that it is in transit for delivery ... Hopefully it gets there before Friday.

it does not even say in transit

I don't know if the status will change anymore. Mine still says issued. Never went to in transit and has not been updated since 9/11 but i got the email and we picked it up.

Where was your passport being delivered ?

Our is in Santiago.

We chose to pick it up in Santo Domingo at Megacentro.

I got the email last night!! He is going to pick up his passport today Thank God! We are planning a flight for the 21st!

I am finally in adminstrative review .. God is Great hopefully it will be ready for pick up very very soon.

Finally my status changed from immigrant to non immigrant which means it is moving . now to wait till it says issued

A question about the Affidavit of Support - my fiance is stuck on the employer letter, because he says all he can get from HR is an electronic link to pass on to whomever wants the info.

I said I think his boss can just write it up and sign it on company paper and he got frustrated, because he has never even *seen* anybody use company paper :-D

Now I was wondering what you guys had the USC bring for the employer letter?

They did not ask for my affidavit of support. However, You can provide your tax returns and your last 2 months of payment stubs. which is what I had prepared to give.

I wonder what the hold up is? There are people that recieve their passport within two to three days. Either way we got through it and were approved it is another waiting game until they send off the passports.

I was have called them everyday this week. They just said they had a large volume and it could be delayed a few weeks. I wonder are they having some kind of computer printing problem like before. The people the week before received their visas in 3 or 5 days.

our interview was August 17th and we are still waiting also. We were approved and told 2 weeks but we are still waiting to pick up the passport.

I called on 26 th. They said they just scanned my file. How long should I wait to make the next call?

Hi I have a question for the Dominican Embassy maybe NikkiG or Yesii75 can answer or it might be a general question. When you check your status on the CEAC site what does it say? Does it say it is at NVC or is it supposed to say it is at the embassy? Mine has not changed but i was able to schedule my interview with no problems. Is the site working? Did i schedule too fast?

Hiii I am a little confused on how I can tell when it is received at the consulate? My search on CEAC returns no results. I already paid the visa fee. And I want to schedule interview. I read somewhere that my fiancée will need a medical letter for his medical exam. What do we need to do to get that letter? Help please

I found where to request my appointment. Paid my fee today and i will schedule tomorrow. I am tooo excited lol.

It is saying case not found when I check the status on the CEAC site. Is this normal or does it take a few days? Also will I receive an email from NVC? Or is the embassy going to email me? I am a little confused lol. How long after completing the Ds160 can I schedule my interview?

Yes i completely understand. This process puts a lot of stress on the relationship. Even though we know the end is near it seems like we are exhausted and very frustrated. And still waiting!!
