My mom's interview is on Feb 10 and I remember asking the same question in this forum. Based from what I've read here, the interview process for parents are easier. They will ask mostly basic questions pertaining to their relationship to us (petitioner) like where we live, if we're working, how many people live in our house, our spouse (if married), birthdays, etc. As for the documents they need to bring on the interview, it will all be mentioned on the Interview Letter that they're gonna send to you & the applicant. Mine only asked for orig passport, photos, Interview letter, & Medical Exam results (should be completed before the interview). Hope this helps :)
Anyway, good luck to our parents & to those going through the same process!
My mom's interview is on Feb 10. They asked for the same thing (orig passport, photos, interview letter, & if nbi clearance is more than a yr old). I noticed our timelines are just a week apart. :)
thanks! they are scheduled for feb 10 as well!

They will ask more about you, your relationship to them, like your birthday, birthplace, favorite foods, where do you live in US, what is your work, and name of your spouse or how many kids you have...something like that.
Thanks for your advice.
Do you know what documents i need to prepare?
Also, is insurance needed during the interview, they are 73 yo and 68....

hi all,
when the parents are called for the interview at the US embassy, what are the possible questions?

Hi All!
I petitioned my parents for US residency.
They are having their interview at the US Embassy next month.
What are the possible questions that might be asked of them?
Also, any idea on documents that I should prepare besides the ones listed on the letter?
Thanks so much for the help!
