  1. A week ago I contacted the Manila Embassy and withdrew my petition. All she had to do was make appointments - it was that close to a done deal.. I

was torn at the time but in the end I listened to what I was saying to myself..

A week later I still miss her so much and I have weak moments. But my stress level is lessening, I did the right thing. You can too babe..

  2. My girlfriend is coming to visit next month. We are debating the pros and cons of marrying on the B2 vs the K1. If we went

the B2 route, we surely would wait four months to marry. The question I have is if we went that route, once in the AOS interview -

would we need to prove that there was an evolution of the relationship?? Or would we only need to prove that the relationship

at the time of the interview is real and pure?

  3. Perhaps, I'm not sure... This is a quote from the link -

The USCIS has adopted the “30/60/90 Day Rule” used by the Dept. of State’s Foreign Affairs Manual (9 FAM 40.63 n4) when examining events that occur shortly after entry to the USA.

  4. You're welcome! Glad it worked out :)

It didn't.. I got this reply... I used an actual digital signature. No explainations whatsoever. Any more ideas??? This is suckiing the life out of me. I want this to end.

Thank you for responding to US Visa Service Desk.

    We have received your attachment.

In regard to your query, to withdraw a petition, you must send a signed written statement requesting that the petition be withdrawn and explaining the reason to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com. If an attorney or accredited representative submits the request, a G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative, must accompany the request.

Do let us know if you have any queries.

  5. Aloha,

I am having trouble with the petition withdrawal procedure During a chat with embassy I was told to do this

(my comments are preceded with **) -

Okay. You need to write and send us a letter if you are ready and decided to cancel the petition.
    Send it to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com.
Write the letter stating that your requesting to cancel the petition with your signature.

**wouldn't signing an email be a bit difficult?

Actually, the letter that you will going to send us will be forwarded to the U.S Embassy in Immigrant Visa Unit.

**so this can be done entirely by email?

Yes Sir. You will receive a notification through email once we have an update about your concern.
**and that's how i would know the withdrawal was final
Yes you will know it, they will notify you about your petition.

Trust me, I did exactly as told, even tho signing an email still baffles me. Anyways, I get this reply back -

In regard to your query, the petitioner must send a signed written statement requesting that the petition be withdrawn and explaining the reason, please sent it to support-philippones@ustraveldocs.com. If an attorney or accredited representative submits the request, a G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative, must accompany the request.

That's exactly what I did. Can someone please tell me what I am missing?? I feel like I am in purgatory and I need to escape.

    Mahalo,

    Bill

  6. Luckytwo15 -

I choose to err on the conservative side for something this important. So I will be sending everything

on the VJ list (except for the original packet as she already has a copy).

My best guess says 10 pages or so. Any guess what this may cost?? Also what mailing options did

you have available - and what did you use?? Also also, were there any signs of tampering when what

    ever you sent was received??

  7. Aloha,

We are looking for the best BUT COST-EFFICIENT way to send the documents to Davao.

Someone on the main K1 forum suggested Fed-Ex. I researched and the slowest

available delivery was 3 days at $314. That's crazy.. Three days is completely unneccessary.

So we come here to people know best and may have done this before. What is the best way

    without breaking the bank??

    Mahalo,

    Bill and Jenny

  8. Aloha to all,

Our question has to do with the information that will be sent to Jenny after we recieve our NOA2.

    1. Copy of packet (she already has).

    2. Second "Letter of Intent to Marry".

    3. I-134 and associated financial documents.

    4. Copy of NOA2.

    5. Proof of on-going relationship since NOA1.

The question relates to items 2-5. Do these items have to be physically sent or can they be prepared

and made available to her electronically (via Dropbox)?

Mahalo and good luck to all,

    Jenny and Bill
