Thanks Georgia16, since I never move. I can apply for N400 anytime after my arrival in the US? And I dont have to wait until April to apply?

Hi, im confuse about the 3 month residency before applying for N400. I traveled abroad for 55 days. I came back last January. I traveled once since I set foot in this country. I lived in the same house for 5 years now.
Does it mean I have to wait 3 months because I traveled abroad before I can apply for N400?

Do you have any service request?
yup, I did that, they said i have to wait for 12 months from the date i filed my aos, so its been 11 months and 2 weeks now and still didnt receive anything from them.

We have the same exact dates for NOA and NPIW. Is your case ending in -861?

Got an update saying that my case is currently being held at the NBC, pending a field office review. The interview waiver cases are being shipped to the local USCIS field offices for adjudication based on field office capacity and not necessarily office of jurisdiction. At this time the processing time is approximately 9-12 months from the receipt date. Once further action is taken on this case, a notice will be sent to the address of record.
It can take up to 1 year for my GC to process, geez! please don't get any longer.
Anyone here been waiting for more than a year now after NPIW?

Its been 10 months now since we filed for aos, received the notice of potential interview waiver case last june 2014, 6 months have passed and still no update . ARGH! Why USCIS is so slow?
