Well how long your husband was in Ap.can you share your experience what was the reason of delay

his medical report was expired so they keep his passport and said submit update medical as soon as u can he said ok

and than after couple of days when he get done with his medical he send to them and he got his status changed couple of days and than after weeks he got his passport.

Am so happy today finally my husband recived his passport with visa and omg this feeling so amazing may allah fullfill all yall wishes come true and yall all who waiting for there visa yall all get it soon inshahallah keep in faith.

Naju, since everything went ok with the interview it will probably take about 30-60 days, since all they requested was an updated medical. But just know that once the AP process starts it could take, days, weeks, months or even years. I don't want to give any false hope. But Inshallah it will not take to long and your hubby will have visa in hand soon

Adel, it is always good when your status date changes, it usually means they are working on your case, so if you are seeing updates every week, definitely take that as a good sign

Hello everyone my husband is also going through this ap prossess last month of july 31 he had his interview everything was quite good CO was nice with him he said everything is good but his medical was expired so co give him white sheet with 221g and said update medical need to be submit sop my husband done wih his new medical and send to them right after couple of days since all this prosses case got update couple of days so i just wanted to know how many days they will take to issue visa any idea please pray for us thank you.

my case is in us embassy islamabad iam waiting for interview since dec 2014 embassy response me on dec 2014 they send me email and request new medical i have been done with everything i send couple of email to embassy online and try to contact them but there is no other way to contact them so i was like might someone went through here in this site please help me what should i do to contact them and get done with new finger prints

Email it to them and tell them if medical is scheduled or not.. They will call your father in 10 to 15 days to schedule finger print and Oath.. Inshallah he will be approved within a month..

I recived same email like month ago and email to them 20 days ago but still i havnt recived any email from them or any call hear from them how long they take time to get interview date any idea brother

You have to do exactly what instructions say. Until you do what they ask you will get no interview.

So just follow the instructions and get ready for your interview. Congratulations.

Hello everyone i have question i recived email from us consulate islamabad pakistan (dec 2014) i got everything in hand now which is (jan 2015) i contact us consulate to interview schedule but no reply i did email them by online and by email to but nothing from them its been one month now what should i do ? do i need to contact nvc if yes so can anybuddy explain how help please.

Your case file in the subject immigrant visa case was reviewed recently, you are required to submit the following documents:

• An updated medical examination report from an embassy apporved physician.
• Form DS-260. Form Ds-230 is no longer in use and has been replaced by form DS-260. The form DS-260 is filled out and submitted online only (https://ceac.state.gov/iv/). Instead of submitting a hard copy of the complete form DS-260, the applicant only has to submit a printout of the confirmation page to our office.
• 2 visa photos with white or off-white background (Front View).
• Valid passport.

Once you have all the above items prepared, please send the barcodes to our office via email and confirm in the email that you have prepared all the above items also. Our office will then assign a date and time to have you and your family members come to our office for a new set of finger prints .
