  1. I received the receipt letter last dec 12 2014. And i still dont have any letter like noa1. Whats the next thing to do?? Do i need to send any form to them? Confused... Sighed

Was the letter the form I-797? If so, its called the NOA1. It tells you the service center your packet is being sent. You won't need any forms to send. You can your case status on the USCIS website by entering you receipt number. Good Luck!

We sent our packet 12/9/14, receipt 12/12/14 and got our approval notification (being sent to NVC) on 1/8/15. Ours was through the California service center. We are mildly shocked, but glad it went through so fast. All thanks to Visa Journey guides!

Congrats! I called the NVC the other day,and the rep told me to call back by the end of the month.

  2. Congrats on the quick process! I am the petitioner and live in California and am currently preparing the I-129K form to apply for a K1 visa for my fiancee. I thought all applications were sent to the Dallas lockbox for the TSC but if CSC is so much quicker, can I file there? How did you file at CSC?

Hey viraj, I believe if you live in California, your packet will likely be forwarded to the CSC. You'll find out once you receive your NOA1. Good luck!

From the title, I knew it had to be a Filipino, so I'm not surprised at all.

I think I've seen even quicker (Filipino) approval on VJ before.

Congrats...but I can see how upsetting this is for

those that have been waiting over 6+ months.

it caught me by surprise, reading about others waiting for months. I told my Fiance it'll take up to 5 months for CSC to process it, I checked the Case status before leaving work on the 24th, just for the heck of it, and tada! case was approved! I hope the US Embassy in Qatar can be as fast!

  3. Awesome! We were approved in 17 days so I will be closely following your case. Was hoping the NVC moved as fast but after getting NOA2 on Dec. 17th, nothing yet.

Congrats! I called the NVC this morning. The rep said to give it at least 35 days, and give them another call.

17 days? and you're not Philippines??

    ..CSC moving that quickly?!

no wonder us TSC people feel such anger right now

this sytem is completely fcked up.. just keep praying

    jus gotta keep praying

Well, 13 days if we're not counting weekends. My Fiance is from the Philippines, but she lives in Qatar.

CSC must be staying on top of things. I hope yours goes smoothly!

    Congrats on a fast approval!

    Thanks! It's a blessing!

Congrats on that. My petition hits the USCIS today and so my countdown begins. Trying to stay positive and it sure helps to hear stories like this!!

Thank you! Good luck on yours!

Congratulations and much blessing be with you on your journey.

Thank you for the kind words. Much luck to you as well.

    Congrats dear

    Thanks!

  4. Congrats!

    Thank you!

Congrats, and no. The NVC does not send you anything but a letter stating your approved petition was sent to the consulate. Check your consulate's website for their procedures and requirements.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to K-1 Progress Reports -topic is case status ~

Thanks! I'll look up the steps after the NOA2.

Congratulations! Once the petition reaches the relevant embassy, packet three will arrive with the beneficiary which will include further information regarding the interview etc :)

Thanks! I thought i'll be receiving the information. I'm about to mail out the copy of my I-129F along with the supporting documents.

Congrats lets update to one another i got approved dec 22 2014 18days after my noa1 from where is your beneficiary? Mine is in the phil.Goodluck and Godbless :)

Good to hear! Mine is from the Philippines, but she resides in Qatar.

obviously so far from the norm, but i still like reading and hearing about stuff like this

hope is all i got right now while waiting

that and abusing the hell out of my case tracker app -.-

Hope all goes smoothly with yours! I checked like crazy myself, even with the processing time telling me how long it'll take.

just i want to know how did you get approved within 16 days while some people been waiting for more than 6 months ? is it fair ? i do not think so

I was surprised how fast it was approved. I followed the guidelines this website offered, and I can't thank it enough.

I feel bad hearing about others waiting past the processing time. It's disheartening. I think it varies by Service Centers.

  5. Hello everyone!

I mailed my i-129 on 12/02/2014, received my NOA1 12/08/2014, and my NOA2 12/24/2014! An awesome Christmas gift! I checked the California processing time, and it shows 5 months! Now, I'm scrambling to gather all my documents to send to my Fiance.

NVC said I need to wait 30 days for my case number, and my packet being sent to the US Embassy where my Fiance resides. Will i be receiving an instruction packet from the NVC? Thanks for you help!
