  1. Hi guys, does anybody know if the address change delays i-751? I filed it in December, got my notice with a receipt number on Dec 22. After we moved in March, and I change address online.. After that I was unable to track my case status online for couple months..... And just recently i can track it again, and it shows they received my case on March 17!!! (the day when we actually changed the address)..!!!! So, does it mean I am 3 more month behind...?

Address change won't affect on your status, but when you changed your address online, you should fill out another form to change your spouse's address as well, this one has to be mailed.

I changed my address online and had my hubby filled out another form, address change of sponsor, and mailed it 4 days after I changed mine online. The whole thing was done about 10 days before I got my 10 yrs green card.

On May 12, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number WAC*******, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by June 11, 2015, please go towww.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

yes there is no tracking number

lets wait a week , hopefully we will get in a week

i think we can get it by Friday.

  3. Please update mine, lol, I was wondering anyone got approved earlier today and checked a couple of times online status. Haha, I just saw mine was updated as approved at 2pm. lol

I filed on 12-18. NOA was 12-22, Biometrics was 1-15-15. Yay!

  4. Same thing happened to us. We moved while my wife's I-751 (Removal of Conditions) was pending. Filed the AR-11 online, and had trouble changing the address on the I-751 online since I-751 was not listed on the list of forms. Did you get a service request number? I don't remember if we got a service request number, but a contractor had to manually update the address for the I-751 case.

We put it in on a Saturday night. Address in the master database updated that night, and a contractor updated the address on the I-751 case on Monday. Received approval email Tuesday (the day after the contractor updated the address). Called USCIS on Friday morning and spoke with a level two agent (actual Immigration Officer) who said the new address is listed at the alien's address (master database) and for the case so that is where the mail is going. Received the approval letter in the mail at the new address later in the day (still Friday). Received the new GC the next day at the new address. Received a letter two days later (Monday) saying the service request to change the address on the I-751 was completed on the prior Monday (two days after the request was entered).

I don't know if the change of address trigger the attention of the file. However, based on predictions it was about the time that the file should of been review by an officer anyway.

BTW: Unless they changed it in the last 2.5 years, in terms of the I-865 your husband should receive a receipt in the mail from the service center showing no charge and his address on the I-864 has been updated. The level one CS reps told me that they didn't know.

Well, I guess you have different situation.

    1. I did have I-751 as an case option.

    2. I got confirmation email with AR-11 confirmation number and service request number at the same time.

my husband will send his i865 today or tomorrow, i don't know if it will affect on anything?

I do have another question for you: which receipt number did you use???????

I am a December filer, hopefully to hear something back soon.

  5. Well my husband and I just moved to a new house and I did change my address online last night. when I was doing my online AR-11 change of address form, I was confused about the receipt numbers.

    From extension letter (NOA1) I got a number WAC*********2

From Biometrics letter (NOA2) I saw there are two receipt numbers on, one is the same number I got from NOA1, the other one is WAC*********9.

I always use WAC*********9 as the one check my status on USCIS website, because WAC******2 doesn't work.

But when it comes to AR-11, WAC*****9 doesn't work, and WAC*******2 worked.

Am I doing the right thing?

My husband will mail I-865 today for change of his address.

Am I doing the right thing?? If not, what should I do?
