It's the first letter he received after his I-751 was accepted by USCIS which indicates his fee amount payed, and also states that his conditional residency status has been extended for 1 year from the expiration date of his 2 year conditional resident card. This letter together with the expired green card serves as evidence of lawful permanent residency authorizing employment and travel for another year while his I-751 is being adjudicated.

Thanks ... Do you know in what part it says he's green card is extended?

It's the same thing as the NOA 1 which carries your fee amount payed and also states that your residency status has been extended for 1 year authorizing work and travel as well.

    hi

no need for now, he has the extension letter which would extend his residency for a year, the first notification that he received, serves as an extension letter

he will travel with his expired GC and the letter, and that also means he is legal to live and work here, he is still a LPR

Oh you mean that the i797 the paper that say that they have received and the are working on it ? I just want to make short before we go to Dominican Republic , I'm scared the don't let my husband in . Thanks!

    Thanks!

  5. Hello guys... I got my visa interview date today! I am so excited, and nervous at the same time. We have our interview on August 28th. Now, there are a few things that are making me nervous. First one, I only work less than a part-time job because I am a full time student, and I live with my parents. They are helping me out until I am done with most of my studies. My husband's cousin is our joint-sponsor, also, I have a few employment letters for my husband from different companies. Will my no-income be a problem? I am really freaking out about that.. If anyone has been in a sore of similar situation, please share ?.

    CONGRATS !
  6. So im new to this hi guys!!! My fiance and I applied for the k1 march 28 2015 the california service center began processing our case on April 8th 2015, we recieved our NOA1 on April 12th 2015 (it was dated as April 10th 2015 we just recieved it in the mail a few days later) we then recieved an RFE update for May 23rd 2015 due to our work schedules Im a manager out in NY he helps run a business in the Dominican Republic and with the wait to time of processing for the documents we had to colect I sent the RFE about a month later. They recieved it and began processing my case again on July 8th 2015. My question for those of you who have gone through this is what comes next? And how much time will pass before a new update. We are doing this on our own so Im confused as to if Im waiting for a reply of RFE or an NOA2 Im utterly lost and confused, as with no lawyer help (two years ago we had hired a fraudulent lawyer who gave us false documents and stole all of our money when we assumed we had a case, he disappeared and through our own investigation we found out there was never a k1 fiance visa so we decided to wait a few months and do it again but this time on our own) any info would be awesome any advice i would be so grateful. My fiance is from and resides in the dominican republic, so anyone from there please give us any advice we are going absolutely crazy from the stress!!!

Hi after they receive the response of your rfe if everything is ok they will sent you noa2 after that they will sent your case to Nvc then Nvc will assign case # after that they will forward it to USA embassy in Dominican Republic after is there then you will have to pay some fees at banco popular then reschedule your appointment for fingerprint ,medical and interview.GOOD LUCK!

  7. Just wanted to say that after much reading (3 weeks worth) many different posts of expedite approvals at NVC (for Dominican embassy/consulate only), I realized that I surely qualified for our case to be expedited at NVC. On May 11th, I emailed NVC our request which they forwarded to DR on 5/14 for their review. This morning while checking my email I received the amazing news that the expedite was approved. Unfortunately, NVC continues having technical issues and I have not been able to pay the aos fee nor complete the ds-261 form. I was assigned my case number and IIN number nearly a month ago. Payments and forms will be submitted the day of interview.

    God is great...

    Felicidades!
