    Hi all,

I had a question that I can't seem to find an answer for. I was approved at my N400/i751 combined interview and my status is currently in line to be scheduled for the oath ceremony. However, I got a notice on my i751 app saying my card was mailed. It was my  understanding that if I was approved and in line to take the oath, I would not get the new green card. Does this mean I should expect delays on the oath? Following up on that, typically how long is the wait to hear back on an oath date? I am in the Nashville area.

    Thanks!

No, this does not mean a delay at all. I got the same notification and received my 10yr Green card 5 days after my interview and approval. I got scheduled for the oath ceremony the very next day after the interview. I know people who received the green card and others that didn't - it doesn't affect your timeline either way.

Is anyone else still getting "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time" after their interview was scheduled?

I was still getting it even after my oath ceremony! I just went into my account and turned off the notifications.

When I check my status here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do , it's updated to say "certificate of naturalization was issued", but it's still not updated all the way in my account.

Hi, thanks so much for your response.  Glad they did the combo interview and it went good!  That is a bummer about the tax transcript I had read in another blog that sometimes they require those.  I am still waiting on my 2018 tax transcript I ordered about a week ago.  So were they going to do the oath ceremony on the same day? Hope everything comes together quickly for you, at least you are right at the finish line!

I had my N400 interview on 04/08 and also had a pending i751, so I'll share my experience. Every case is different really, and experiences vary. I have had people tell me they were grilled at their interview, but mine took all of 10 minutes. I went with my spouse but the officer said she only needed me. She told me at the start that she was satisfied with the i751 and would approve it, so she went straight to the naturalization test. It all went quick and she was very friendly but professional. None of the evidence I took along was looked at - only checked my green card and ID card (drivers licence).

It appears Denver will by default do a combo interview if there's a pending i751. Whether your spouse is interviewed with you or not depends on how "okay" the officer is with your i751 application.

By the time we got home, my i751 status had changed to "card is being produced" and N400 said "Oath ceremony letter was mailed". The next day I was able to see the oath ceremony letter in online account and it was scheduled 10 days from the interview date. I received the 10yr green card 5 days after the interview(turned it in at oath ceremony).

A few things I learnt from making small talk:

****Denver hasn't done same day oath ceremonies in quite a while and though I requested it based on a few reasons, the officer very nicely told me it wouldn't be possible.

****Some approvals may take a few days to process if the pending i751 file "is not in their system".

    I hope this helps.

  4. well I have 6/8 CC still waiting so doubtful. Depending on how many are in the queue. Hard to even predict now.

    Hi Dwheels,

I believe the person from Ghana with 6/8 CC already got their interview scheduled on 12/8 (see attached screenshots)-they just didn't report back....doesn't look like they have a timeline either, and it's an F1 case.

I'd not be surprised to see those with July CC getting October interviews at all.

Sad, but people neglect to come back and update. We have to appreciate the help the statistics on the spreadsheet offers to us all.

I'd encourage us on here to keep things up to date.post-199767-0-48075900-1440954498_thumb.pngpost-199767-0-48199300-1440954478_thumb.png

  5. Any body got a cc lately? For me, After 39 days of waiting to get my ds 260 get reviewed. My case went to supervisor review. That's another 42 days according to the agent. Patience patience patience...

Hraja is right, DydyLo, call and try to speak directly to a supervisor.

We submitted our ds 260 on July 5....on August 6 I called NVC and they put us on supervisor review.

We kept trying to reach a live supervisor since then, and on August 14 my husband got hold of one and got our case completed! Saw 3 N/As on August 15(yesterday)! ....it works!

Try get hold of a supervisor in the coming week.

I wish you all the best.

  6. No as of 1pm today my fees still said paid, but the lady on the phone repeated twice case complete.

I requested a receipt and cover sheet sent to my email when I paid the fees. They never showed up until yesterday.

    Okay. Thanks!

I also requested a confirmation page to my email when I submitted the DS 260 on July 5. It never showed up till yesterday....twice!

My AOS fee still says paid.

I'm trying to see if there are any parallels to be drawn here.....

  7. Just called, I got a CC yesterday. It seems all the emails I got from the NVC yesterday did mean something! :joy::joy::joy:

Do you mean the June NVC thread? There is a new NVC thread every month. So tomorrow this one will be locked and you will need to switch over to the August NVC thread.

Yes when you have CC it means everything is reviewed and you are just waiting on an interview.

    Hello Kastrs.

Has the AOS fee changed from PAID to N/A on the CEAC website for you yet?

Did it change after you received the bunch of emails from NVC?

ALSO, about the emails you received, are they a repittion or you never received them before? only just yesterday?

    Thanks.

  8. Pand0ra,

no worries, I found below details from the Ds-260 sample.

    Previous Work/Education/Training Information Page

Displayed for all applicants who meet one of the

    following criteria:

    • The applicant is male and age is between 14 and 60
    • The applicant is over the age of 14 and is from Burma, China, Cuba, India, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, or Stateless
    • The applicant is retired, not employed, or is a homemaker
    • The applicant is a principal applicant and is applying for any of the following visa classes: E11, E12, E13, E21, E31, E32, EW3, SD1, SR1, SE1, C51, T51, SI1, Q1, SF1, SG1, SH1, SJ1, SK1, SN1, R51, and I51, DV-1.
else it will be only Additional page.

But keep your work details when you go for the interview for safer side.

    Thank you so much SiVin!

Very useful information right there!....I appreciate the insight.

    Thank you.

  9. For me I can "add another" or "remove". I click on add another for previous emplyers.

Yes, but for us, we don't even have the previous work area on the form at all!

After asking about present primary occupation, the next question is "have you ever served in the military? "....and then it moves on to "petitioner information"

I'm however assured by responses from Saylin, SiVin and others that it is not out of place at all.

Thank you for caring to respond.

  10. Keep in mind, today is the first business day they've been open since July 2nd. They were closed on July 3rd for observance of Independence Day. There's a backlog at NVC, so you need to sit tight and wait a bit.

You need to meet certain "criteria" to fill out the previous work experience. If you didn't get that section, don't worry about it. Some people get it, some others don't. You can have the information handy for the interview if you want, but it likely won't be asked.

    Thanks Saylin.

Guess I shouldn't be worried then.

  11. This happened to me and my wife. The previous work experience tab disappeared. So far no problem, but I am waiting on Case Complete.

Just fill out what it asks for. If they want previous employer information they will ask for it at the interview. (This is what I learned from searching for solutions like you are currently doing)

    Thank you for sharing.

I just hope it causes no delays...we've had enough of that already!
