If you would like a new SS card, you will have to fill out a Form SS-5-FS, follow the instructions, and take it in to your local SSA office for processing. This SSA link speaks about the three types of SS cards:
I read of people who after becoming a citizen, they went to update their social security status, and received a new card

There is an area in the application (first page, bottom area), where the photo is supposed to go, do I have fill out this area?
the area is all white, and it says STOP continue to page 2
This area has boxes for driver license and ID information, not sure if I have to put my driver license there
Do I have to staple my photo to this box before going to the post office? I know I have to sign it in front of the person
If you went to the post office, how did you pay the fees?

after updating my new citizenship status with social security, will they give or mail me a new card?
Did you get a new one after updating yours?
Obviously, the number remains the same
-
Congratulations.
It likely is state-dependent whether you can submit it online or mail it in. Regular first class postage, such as a "Forever" stamp, will suffice.
In Florida, it has to be mailed
-
Hi,
Why not just do it online and save yourself the stamp?
You can use a regular Forever stamp.
Congratulations.
because it cannot be done online, you have to either give it in person or mail it

I'm american now, and I filled out the voter registration form, there is an address in the back of it
What postage do I need?
just the regular mail stamps?

No panic in the week of 04/28/15 call USCIS asked to speak to level 2 please have a trusted fax number handy . Ask them to fax you a copy on the notice . Note they wont email it to you but they will fax it with no issue at all .Level 2 will open a fax inquiry and you should received that fax with few hours . Once you get the fax print that link below and filled it up staple that fax to it you should be all set .
Thanks
tuesday i will call
i dont have a trusted fax machine, and do not know anyone who has one
i dont see why they can't mail me a copy of the notice, right after i call
i even filled up an infopass with lost notice, but who knows when they read that, and send me a copy, so im just gonna call, or go straight to office and demand a copy lol
-
threw it away without noticing and the interview is on may 4th
I read here that you can still have the interview without bringing the letter, as long as you show identification and everything
I will call the office and see if they can send me a copy of the letter

Let's say you are a little tight, and want to wait a few weeks before getting your passports, is it possible?
How long can you wait before getting your passport? or if you don't get it right after becoming a citizen, do you lose that option?
I'm assuming you can get the passport whenever you want, and wait as long as you want, right, after all, many americans never had a passport, and I'm sure if they wanted to get one after decades, they could, because they were born here

MULTIVITAMIN AND MINERALS
I finally received my interview letter, and is for April 9th
-
On March 3, 2015, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC*. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice.
-
Did you get a sms regarding the update of your case OR you just happen to check online status!
i check my online status and it says inline for interview
never got a text or email about it
-
mine also says in line for interview
i did my fingerprints on February 3rd
when will i get the interview letter?
-
done with biometrics today, it was easy
now i wait lol
-
Awesome. That took a darn long time, but you got caught right up with the biometric as well.
Back when I spent TWO YEARS getting my green card (that's how long it used to take) I used to check the mail so nervously I installed a monitor to know when my box was open so I could get the mail right away!
Now, I wonder how long will I have to wait for the interview letter, after I'm done with biometric
I read it can take 1 month or more
-
I finally got the freaking noa letter, including the biometric letter
at Oakland, with date of February 3rd at 11am
-

i see
so, let's create an scenario. my green card expires in june 2015, and I send my application in april 2015 with my $680
WHAT DO THEY DO?
do they refuse my application, or accept it and cash the check, while letting me know, that I have to renew my green card to become a citizen, in other words, i will end up paying 680 + 450
lol
regardless if they continue with application process and cash the check, or if they refuse your application all together, you will still pay the same 680 + 450
-
monday and tuesday
mailman hasn't even appear
lol
tomorrow hopefully i get my noa letter
-
You shouldn't count on your naturalization being approved before it is, and you won't be a citizen until you're sworn in. The correct thing to do is renew your greencard before it expires so that you're current for your interview and naturalization ceremony.
Good luck!
duhh it expires in september, is january
also, i would really hate having to pay $450 more to renew my green card, if my citizenship doesn't come in time
Do I have to update my status with social security before passport?
