Met over the internet May 26, 2003. First telephone conversation June 11, 2003. Met face to face for the first time August 28, 2003. She was denied a visitor visa May 12, 2004. And we married July 31, 2004 in Toronto.
Nothing has been harder than being forced in the first year of our marriage to be apart, but it has made us stronger and more dedicated to each other and our common goals than most couples who haven't experienced this kind of separation could ever understand. I would walk through Hell for this woman, and the time and distance has shown me that she would do the same for me. I Love her more than words could ever convey, and feel that we were 'meant to be'.
We simply want to legally live in the same country so that we can start building our life with each other and raising a family. Love knows no borders, we only want to be together.
Why do legal, honest spouses with no children have to wait so long???!?!?
