Congrats. My husband recived his GC on the mail today.. finally

GC just arrived, yay!! ..a few days past the 60-day time frame. (We were told 2-3 months by CBP, so within the window).

Well I paid mine in nov.6 and my husband came in nov.7 and I just check with the IOE case number and it says that it was sent to us by usps, you should wait 2 more weeks or try to call again y o try to get an answer.

Yes, u can schedule your interview but u need to wait for the case status to change from in transit to ready. You can schedule the vac and the interview.

I called the phone number and they gave me the AP status script and I said how is it possible if we were not issued a request for information and there were no questions with regards to documents issued.

If you write to them, they just going to tell you to wait.

the same thing happend to me , it went from READY to AP for 4 days , they updated 3 times and then change to Issued.

on ustraveldoc the box where you see the delivery updates it went blank, next day passport was available for pickup. it took 15 days from the day of the interview to the day we went to Galeria 360 to get the passport. Also today is a Holiday so i don't think they gonna update.

Yes. Mine took 15 days. My checklist was for marriage certificate.

Anyone here got cc after sending a checklist in less then 30 days or exactly 30 days?

Maybe you can get it for October. My case was completed on September 10 and today my status on ceac.state.gov says in transit to embassy.

Our case was CC on September 18. Any idea when an interview may be scheduled? Is November realistic? Has SD finished scheduling for the month of October?

Anyone knows after How many days Will a police cert from Dom Republic ecpire? I have One for NVC dated may 2015. Need to know if this Will still be accepted by NVC

The one I send to NVC was from Oct-2014, i send my package on july-2015 and it was good. I think police certificates are good for one year, but for the interview need to get a new one, less than 30 days.

I translated birth certificate, police certificate, marriage certificate. I later received a check list for the marriage certificate because I forgot to send the (apostillado).On the checklist they ask to send the correct marriage certificate with a English translation. To be in the safe side just translate everything that is in Spanish to English.

He needs to do the fingerprints in Galeria 360.

I am a US citizen bringing my Dominican husband to the states on a IR1 visa. I have an appointment for the end of September. On my NVC appointment letter nothing is written about going to the VAC to do fingerprints and what not. I only states about the medical and what must be brought to the interview. Someone told my husband that he has to go get fingerprints done. So, I'm just wondering is that something we have to do or does it only apply to certain visa categories? Thanks!

Scan date July 16 and e-mail says to allow 30 days to review.

well, here's another one.

for NVC doc intake,

if you MISS SOMETHING prior to checklist being issued,

you can send it in, using the barcoded coversheet that you printed out AGAIN.

it's dead easy. sure, it will delay your case a bit, but remember NVC is currently at the '60 day review' mark, so it's best to send it in now, next, nowish, as with that barcoded coversheet, it will get added to the casefile.

What can I do.?? I send my husband's AOS and IV package yesterday to nvc,but I forgot to include the police certificate. Can I just send it today alone with a cover letter or something. I don't know if I can do that or just wait to get the checklist.

Yes. You can send it. Use the AOS confirmation page to send it.

Hey I was just on the phone with NVC. I was told that my ds-260 was being processed and that I should send a money order of $125. Should I send it or just wait to see it I'm able to do it online on monday. I don't know what to do!!

I can't imagine how u feel waiting since october. It makes me feel sad that I see people waiting for so long with no answer. Will pray for u and hope that can get ur approval soon.
