Hi,

It had been three weeks since we received our NOA2 approval. I called the NVC center, and I was able to get my case number from the lady along with my INV number (???).

We are in the Bogota Colombia Embassy, Anyone have any idea how long before we should hear from the Bogota Consulate or what I should be doing in the meantime?

AAAAH after 229 after we got the most sad, angry, frustrated and tired of waiting after John finally got to talk to an immigration officer on the phone...

I would like to say I'm overjoyed. Approved last night.

There is still much to be done following the many posts from others who have shared their approval status. To everyone still waiting. Be encouraged as your day is near.

I may never meet many of our November and early December filers. If you are in the Houston area. Perhaps, we can meet. Like a reunion of sort to meet others that have shared the journey with a celebration.

I'm a Houstonian and November filer.

Unfortunately I'm traveling to India for work the February 7th weekend. I would have loved to have met with some of the locals in the area, and be involved in being a voice for others that will go through the process.

I noticed that the USCIS Petition now has 239 people. How many people are actually needed for this to become a formal petition? It seems like the number of people needed keeps changing.

waiting...

It looks like Texas cases take a longer time for NOA2 notices than other processing centers.. Any hope here...
