Congrats! Saw your post and immediately called NVC. Our cc was 7/14...and we have an interview date also!!! Nov17 9am!!!

So excited...now to get medical done and try to get our date moved up so we can reunite daddy with our now 6 mth baby boy!

Congratulations to you also! Hopefully we both can get an earlier date. Our son is missing daddy badly too.

Our interview is scheduled for November 23rd. Our CC is 7/28. My due date is November 22nd. Hopefully we can get an earlier interview date.

Just finished calling and still nothing scheduled. I don't know if my husband will make it in time for our daughter's birth now.

7/28 CC and no interview. Hoping we get one in October. I have no idea what the hold up is.

We got our CC 7/28 and still waiting on an interview from Ankara, Turkey.

Saw 3 N/A's today and confirmed that we have a CC. Checklist scan date 06/15.

I am the USC living in Istanbul with my husband and son. My husband is Nigerian. We are preparing for the NVC stage. We have not filed our 2014 taxes because I still have not received my son's social security card. The consulate said it could take up to six months. A tax agent recommended that we wait for our son's card rather than file an amendment. As I am living abroad my taxes are not due until June 15th. My father is our co-sponsor and has filed his taxes for this year. What exactly should I include in my cover letter and provide as evidence as not to receive a checklist? Any recommendations or questions are welcomed.

3. When did you file the I-130: February 23rd, 2015
4. How long had you been living abroad: 3 years
5. Do you reside in the country legally? Yes
6. What is the reason for your residence: Being with spouse and work.
7. Did you list your foreign address on all forms in I-130 package? Yes.
8. Did you send I-130 package from abroad? Yes
9. Did you include evidence of your residence abroad in the I-130 package? Joint bank account,lease and CRBA of our son.
10. Did you mention the fact you reside abroad in the cover letter or write a letter describing your current situation and the evolution of your relationship with your spouse (mentioning your residence abroad)? Yes, describing how and where we met.
11. Has your case been "auto-expedited"? How long between NOA1 and NOA2? Yes, 14 days.
