My case is with NVC from 22 November and case number has not been assigned yet. So, I put an email request for expedited processing based on military deployment with NVC a couple of days ago. Today they replied
Dear Sir/Madam:
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: EACXXXX
The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case for expedited processing. This file will be forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General when we finish our intake process.
Do anyone have similar situation? What does intake process means?- just assigning case# or the whole process of filling 3032 to ds260 etc? If I have to do all those forms and wait for them to review there will be no reason to expedited. I was hoping it would go faster? I'm confused to what to do next. When I called NVC, I was told to wait on response from NVC. Any input is highly appreciated.

Hopefully they would do that after they assign a case number and enter the info in the system. Thats what I hope the intake process means.
