She needs AP if she's leaving the US (which I'm assuming going to the Bahamas she would be leaving the US) otherwise she won't be able to re-enter. You'd have to file for a spousal visa and start from scratch.
Was wondering, because there is no passport required to cruise to Bahamas
-
I received email on 12/15 and hard copy yesterday 12/20
-
If you weren't arrested, I wouldn't worry about listing it!
-
So we have our I-797 NOA for AOS, we would like to travel to the Bahamas on a cruise, which doesn't require a passport, will my fiance be OK?
-
Did you tryed to contact them by phone/email and ask them about your status ?
Yes, keep getting directed to website that is of no help. All it says is visa was issued on 8/24
-
Same here, but ceac status still shows Administrative Processing.
Ours shows the visa was issued on 8/24, we went through US Consulate in Hong Kong
-
Did ours ourselves, less than 6 months start to finish!

Interview was two weeks ago and still no passport, any idea how long it usually takes?
-
Congratulations bro???
Thanks man!!!
-
Congrats to you and all the others that have been approved
My interview is 15th sept. I am already nervous. I don't know what to expect.
My fiance said it was very relaxed, they just asked her a few questions and went over some papers, if your relationship is legit and true, it should be no problem! It's more of a formality, they have a pretty good idea what's going on from your application and supporting proof

That's wonderful news! Congratulations to both of you...

Medical complete, interview in 11 days!!!!
Can't wait til the love of my life steps off that plane!!!!!

I'm sure they will let her know what she needs to do! They have been very easy to deal with thus far!
-
I could be wrong, but she may still have to take the CFO seminar
No mention of it anywhere, but will find out
-
I think CFO relates to "Commission of Filipino Overseas", but I could be wrong. Regardless, it took about 10 days for Katya to actually receive her visa/passport which was no big deal for us since she used almost the entire six months before she came over.
Good Luck!
I will book flight the minute Lida tells me she's holding her visa!!! lol
-
She is leaving from Hong Kong, not Philippines!
-
they vary, ours we had sent to 2GO Robinsons in Cebu, it took 16 days, but ive heard more and less, we did not book flight until we had in hand, don't forget to get CFO sticker!
What is CFO?
-
By big day, I meant her arriving! What is CFO sticker?
-
I understand that! I was just trying to get a time frame!

OK, was just asking, because US doesn't ask for any kind of documentation when coming off the ship! I guess we'll just fly to Puerto Rico, I know that's safe!
