Put the documents in the order it says on the interview letter

Ours showed as ready when consulate received our case ... Which obviously was before the interview

Why do u need petitioners birth certificate? I'm assuming this is for cr1? Right? I didn't read anywhere about petitioners ... I know beneficiaries original and copy is required

My husbands on August 5 th Mumbai he's getting biometrics done on the 4 th

hey! my husband has a print out with a list of things that they need for biometrics when he took apointment... there r a lot of things in that paper so i would just take anything thats listed there just to be on the safe side eventho the website says otherwise

i think thats the same case for most immigrant visas.... i had to wait close to a month before it was available to pay online after receiving the bill via email,,,i think the best method is to just wait for it to show up on ceac, cuz i have read posts here that if you pay via mail it takes longer

This is what I send to nvc as proofs

1.marriage certificate

2.church marriage certificate

3.wedding pictures

4.marriage invitation

5.my name added to his passport

6. We filed taxes as married with his name in my tax returns

7.other pictures of us together

This is all I send, I thought of sending chat history and call logs but too many pages so saving that for interview

Send all the proofs you have, it really depends on the person checking your file...

Hey my friend also did it as single and she said it was fine... My accountant told me the same thing .... But I was scared so I did it the right way, filed paper filling did married filling separately and put NRA under SSN ... It took a little more work but it's the right way, they may not even check that at the interview but it's a little more proof and I feel better ...

Make sure medical is done Atleast one week prior to interview some places take few days to give u the medical report

i honestly dont know the normal timing...but my case was completed on 7/10 and i got an interview date email on 7/14 .... i was shocked, God is good! hope you get your interview date soon

i didnt receive any email or mail stating that the case was completed, i just got an email with an interview date. I knew case was completed cuz i saw the 3 n/a on ceac so i just called to verify and was told case was completed and to wait for an interview date and then i received interview letter via email. I assume yours will be the same, wait for an interview date either via email or mail, i guess you can call also

They check for titers a blood test to see if your immune ... My husband also didn't have records even though he received most of them... His medical was today and he only had to take two vaccines

I have a question. My interview is on august 10th but I check the ceac site and it still says "at nvc"is this normal?

I think it's supposed to say in transit and then ready.... Mine is ready now our interview is on aug 5 th

Can someone help me with biometrics for India? It's so confusing I read a few posts but it's still not clear ... Biometrics seems more like I'm scheduling for interview date?? I already have interview date ... I'm trying to get appointment for fingerprinting and then a pick up location for passport with stamped visa....the direction I'm following and the page is asking for my mailing address? I thought they only mailed to certain locations not place of residence?

We got our case complete on June 30 , and interview date on August 13 in Mumbai. Did you get yours?

Hey guys ... My husband has his medical soon, what happens if he doesn't have any records of it? We mentioned that in ds260... Does that mean he has to take them all over again? Anyone from India with the same experience?

I got an interview date for August 5th!!!! I can't believe it! All I can say is God is Good!

For me when the aos fee changed from paid to n/a ... I called nvc and it was case complete ... But with the email u got it sounds to me like u have a case complete

Idk if it has changed I doubt it but as for my friend who had interview in May, once they were approved u can wait a few days to pick it up or they mail it to u... Whatever u prefer ... Idk about package
