I will pray for you my friend. I know how you feel. They forget that they are dealing with people's lives. I pray you will be together soon.

My fiancee went to buy her ticket and it says that she needs to fill out an ESTA online in order to board the plane 72 hours before departure. What is this and does she really need this? Im kind of concerned.
-
We filed on the same day it looks like. We had a 3 month delay for sputum testing but just got approved last week. May i ask why yours has been delayed?

As far as i know, the poverty level depends on the state you live in. That said, your last three tax returns and a note from your employer should have been enough. I only speak from my experience however and all embassy are different. Hang in there. Find out what they need and try to appease them. You'll be together soon. Why did your income drop so much may i ask? I know in my case i lost my job two months before the interview but was able to find another right before. They based her approval on my income from my w2 and my employer note. They never looked at my check stubbs.

You definitely have my prayers. I hope it all turns out for you.

APPROVED!!! Thank you for your prayers!! Whoooooohooooo!!! And thanks to all of you that helped along the way!!

She's on her way to the embassy. I know so many of you have moved on. But i wanted to get as many prayers as i can. We have worked so hard for this and waited so long. Today is the day. Im so excited! !

So happy (and jealous ) of all the approvals. Glad to see people so happy. Can't wait to be there too.

No. You don't need the visa. But you do need your passport which i know thw embassy keeps till they return your visa.

Im learning that everyone is different but for the Philippines you need it for the medical. Thanks to the help I got from this board, I was told to print out a screen shot of the NVC website showing our status and they accepted thaf thabk goodness.

The letter from NVC is hit or miss in terms of ever actually receiving it based on individual postings on VJ. I received one, but I'm one of the select few I think.
Yeah. Im still waiting for the nvc letter after i called them twice. Thank goodness i found a way around having the hardcopy. They still won't send it to me.

Reading the thread I assume TSC notifies you when they send it to NVC. Once at NVC you have to use the ceac website correct?
Yeah. They should tell you when it leaves by mail. Then the NVC hoards the rest of the information. You have to bug them repeatedly to get your information.

Thank you
Hope other december filers are doing well!
Congrats to you. Im glad others are doing well. I ended up waiting in medical limbo while we wait fornthe sputum test. Im bummed because she was supposed to fly here on the 10th but now we have to wait two more months. We know she doesn't have TB so it's all just lost time. Seeing others get approved is really nice. I like it. I pray for your lives to be happy and I'll see you on the AOS threads soon.

Dispair. I feel so heartbroken. We were just two weeks away from being together again and they are going to make her take a sputum culture. She doesn't have TB. She's been tested for it several times before. But some jerk is seeing things on an xray so now we are apart till may or june. I can't express in words how horrible this process is on my life. I hate our government for doing this to people and families. They should be ashamed.

because I am part of the December Filers group
just want to give everyone an update
received an email from Riyadh Embassy today!! THEY HAVE MY CASE!! (Packet 3)
the funniest thing is I got my Case # from that email! I did not even get it from NVC or anything or by calling..
TSC it seems does it properly because the speed at which it went from NOA2 to the Embassy receiving it was lightning fast.. it only took a total of 3 weeks!
hell, it spent 3 days at the NVA, 5 total days from when NVC received it to when the Embassy received it!!
but yes.. I checked CEAC and sure enough: Status: READY!! game on baby!!
thank you jesus
Glad to hear things are going well. December has been a great month for filing. I think we a re a blessed group. I would feel guilty celebrating my good fortune if you lot were still stuck in hell. Im glad everyone here can celebrate together more or less. Ive received a lot of awesome help here. I look forward to keeping in touch for the change of status with you guys.

My fiancé submitted his forms, paid the visa fee and readiness 24 hours after our status said ready on the CEAC website. His medical is booked for 26 February. All packet 3 is for the UK is a letter that says to go online and fill out those forms anyway.
Sounds like it's going smoothly. Im happy for you

I just wanted to thank you both again. I was really panicked about this. They allowed her to take the physical and she is there now. Waiting foe a long time but that problem was solved. You guys saved my life.
-
I took a screen shot of the ceac ready status with the number in bold. I think that will work. I hope it does. Thank you both

Thank you both for responding . You may have saved everything

Need Simon that has been through the medical recently and did not have a letter from the nvc but an appointment with the embassy. Were you able to take the medical. I have heard conflicting opinion but no solid advice. We never recieved a letter or email from the nvc but we have an appointment conformation and a receipt showing ahe paid. Will she be turned away from the medical on monday??? Someone please help. St lukes medical in manila only please
-
Petition is already at the embassy. All ready for her appointment on tge 26th
-
I think it's a toss up as to whether or not those letters get sent, to be honest. I wouldn't really worry about it-from what has been described on the forum, it just has the information you collect from the customer service rep. (case number, invoice number, beneficiary number).
Mine hasn't updated either. I think during this initial stage, you either get at NVC / In Transit / At Embassy. I don't have anything else-no dates updated, etc. I think the general rule of thumb has been it's at the NVC for 1-2 weeks before heading off to the respective embassy.
I've heard tge same about the NVC# number. Only issue is. The medical is asking for that as an included documents

Im starting to get a bit concerned. I never did recieve the NVC hard copy of my NVC#. I wonder if i should call and ask about it.
CEAC documents issues

Is anyone else having issues with submitting documents through CEAC? My mother in law’s marriage certificate and my wife’s birth certificate are both being rejected as invalid even though they are the correct documents from the correct agency. I can’t get ahold of anyone due to Covid about these documents and why they are rejecting them. Is anyone else having issues or know a way to get ahold of someone that can tell me?
