Do you mind sharing your and your spouse Nationality .

I made my Indian passport for 10 years with my 1 year extension letter.And I was fine.first I thpought that Indian embassy will issue me only 1 year Passport,but they issued me for 10 years( My old passprt got lost)

YesI have travelled to Canada.

And when I came back at LAX airport ,the Officer checked in the system ( I dodnt kow what he checked) and let me in.

Did you get a sms regarding the update of your case OR you just happen to check online status!

On January 12, 2015, we received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number *************, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by February 11, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

May be the USCIS will update in the "future" at some stage this means. I am not the only one then!!! Thanks.

My online status never changed since the FIRST update..that is "we received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC".....

Did any one check if their online status was updated after receiving NOA or Yellow letter.Thanks.

I sent mine in Oct. I have noticed that most of the people who chose to participate on the n400 forums here and who filed in Oct 2014 have received atleast the notification informing them they have been put in line for an interview. As much as I was expecting that with mine too it seems i am one of the very few still left where the online status is still the stale old "case was received" screen.

I honestly havent a clue as to what is causing the hold up.

Any update for N 400 case.People from October 2014 are getting oath dates now.

If you are happily married and have joint petition for I-751 I guess you should contact Ombudsman OR just file writ of Mandamus.If I were at your place I would have definitely filed a case against USCIS ,they cannot keep me waiting,but my situation is little complex and at present immigration issues is not my priority ,I have other things to accomplish .

Someone has been waiting for many years for court day. It is a long wait and depression.

So when we are waiting for court date (from 751 denial to court date) what is our status? Are we still able to work..etc or our immigrant status is terminated?

You could wait a very long time to have a court date.

Or could just leave.

So this means practically again you have to wait for years ...to appear in front of the Judge and try to prove your bonafide marriage....

Hmmmm I thought once I- 751 was denied we could get a court date in months if not days!!!

Sent their application 1 day before me, and their check was cashed on 1/09 or 1/13

I sent a money order, yet the usps site reveals nothing for my serial number

does the fact that i received my e-notification and case number means they have cashed the money order

I wrote my A number on the back of money order, everything was done correctly

They received my form on 5 th january.updated on 7th and on 7th they sent me my case number via sms.And on 8th they cashed my check.

i think i am having a mail delivery problem last 7 days.. i receive no mail at all.. (usually monthly mail that i receive)

my question is

since on the other topics i saw that over the phone uscis doesnt tell interview date.. is there any other way of finding out?? like infopass or something???

Yeah I checked October fillers form your area (Dallas, TX). most of them got in line interview notice .

I guess our N 400 has triggered 751 and may be they are working on our pending 751 but who knows.I hope you should be receiving notification by the end of january.

Online status ,don't worry much about that ,as it is very inconsistent .My friend got his citizenship in 2012 and his online case status is still showing that he has been scheduled for the interview !!!.

I have not. I am still waiting.

I guess maximum time to get interview notice is 4-5 months,so I am expecting in June-July.But its too hard to predict.

I got mine NOA on ordinary paper, so, I think they are doing the same for everyone...we don't need to worry on this...

Yep!!! I was trying to compare.

I read on USCIS website,,since april 2012 they changed to ordinary papers to save money.

I have been going throught something very similar. My I-751 has been delayed for almost two years.

I waited and thought it would run its course and that we will eventually get a reply. That never happened. So we went ahead and made several phone calls to USCIS customer service and spoke to a tier-2 person. Each time they said it was waiting for the interview. The interesting thing is that my case online was never updated. Anyway, we eventaully made an infopass appointment and went into the local office and they they said the case was not a priority and they had other cases to adjuciate that required immediate attention. We again waitied but with 6 more months having gone past with no update, we had our congressman write in and demand an explanation. His office was told that there was a large backlog and they are working on those. Two months later we hired an attorney and he suggested we check in for the reason first (whom we paid $500) and all he did was go in and make the same infopass appointment that we did. that was a complete waste of money and from our experience I dont recommend that at all.

We got a new attorney who told us to file the N-400 as that will force them to work on your I-751. Its been a few months and we are still waiting.

I applied for N -400 and got the NOA on 1/13/2015.

I got my NOA today 1/13/15.

This time the USCIS used ordinary paper,simple white paper not the one I received earlier for my I-751(thick paper and little green color) ,may be they reduced the standards or its just for ME !!

I checked online they say case was received on 6th January and on NOA it reads case received January 5th 2015,not a big deal I guess.I know that they received on January 5th ...(I got confirmation from fedex )

I guess are you asking the address for " US Department of homeland security"...
