  1. Our NOA2 was approved and was sent to NVC last April 23, I just called them last night and was informed that they received our case last May 18, It will be scanned to have the case and IID#, I will give them a call before this week ends and will keep everyone posted.

Wait or hold time to get your call answered is between 30-45 minutes. Just be patient in calling NVC.

  2. Just to share:

USCIS Update: Case Status Inquiries with the Service Centers.

Step 1: Contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283. The NCSC can assist customers, community-based organizations and liaison groups with case related inquiries. Before calling the NCSC please have available your receipt number, alien registration number, type of application filed and date filed. During your call we recommend that you take note of the following information:

-The name and/or id number of the NCSC representative

-The date and time of the call

-Any service request referral number, if a service referral on a pending case is taken

Step 2: If more than 15 days have passed since you contacted the NCSC and the issue has not been resolved or explained you can email the proper USCIS Service Center to check the status of your case.

    -California Service Center: csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov

    -Vermont Service Center: vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

    -Nebraska Service Center: ncscfollowup.nsc@dhs.gov

    -Texas Service Center: tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

Please note: Emails should be sent to the Service Center that has jurisdiction over your case. The receipt notice will indicate EAC for the Vermont Service Center, SRC for the Texas Service Center, LIN for the Nebraska Service Center, and WAC for the California Service Center.

When contacting the Service Centers by email you will need to provide the information outlined in Step 1. If the NCSC did not issue a service request after your call, please indicate the reason the NCSC representative did not issue the request.

Step 3: In the event you do not receive a response within 21 days of contacting the appropriate Service Center, you may email the USCIS Headquarters Office of Service Center Operations by email at: SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov. You will receive a response from this email address within ten days.

  3. Thank you for the response TabeaK.

Just to share, this is what we get whenever we chcek our case status on the USCIs website. Its April 14 and no update was made so far. My fiancee had called the USCIS CS on a weekly basis and was told that our case is still on process and they cannot provide any timeline on when we can expect the NOA2. Do we need to file a Service Request?

On January 2, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXX. Our Texas Service Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by March 3, 2015, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed.

  4. Greetings to everyone.

We filled out K1 last November 2014, and yes we are still waiting for the NOA2... :crying::protest:

My question is - Does getting the NOA1 approved, ensure that NOA2 will be approved as well? We had an RFE and comply/replied in the given time and had called the customer service to verify they have recieved the needed docs.

I would appreciate all the inputs.

    Thank you.

  5. Hi Everyone,

We filed our K-1 last November 2014, we had RFE and replied in the time provided. As per USCIS website we should be getting a decision by March 3, 2015 but every time I check our case it has not been updated, we are still waiting... The petitioner has been calling the customer service on a weekly basis to get some update but was told that they are still processing our application...can never provide as to when it will be approve.

I am hoping that the workload transfer would help most of the TSC fillers, who had been waiting for so long...

Any input/update will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
