  1. Hi guys,

Hope all is well. I still haven't heard anything from the USCIS since Sept 2nd. Anyone here with a RFE heard anything or any update yet? I'm hoping to hear back from them in a couple days, since it's been like 4 weeks since I responded to the RFE.

Dhoang519 : Look at my timeline.

Because of my RFE, it probably delayed my case of 2 weeks. I filed on July 1st and EAD/AP was approved on Sept 24...

  2. Hey guys! This is my first time posting but I have been reading this topic since the first post.

Me and wifey are in the same boat: July fillers, biometrics taken, RFE received and replied and since that nothing.... Lol.

Our lawyer said he had filed my EAD but never got a NOA1 for it and he told me to wait 90 days but 90 days for what since I suspect he didn't file it.

    Any suggestions? Thoughts?

    Charles

I gave them a call after 75 days without approval and they issued a service request for me...

  3. Hello everyone,

This website is the best tool that exists to help all of us to go through all the steps... :)

I am grateful to the people who will be able to enlighten me.

So I receive a RFE for my i-864.

I think I totally misunderstood how I was supposed to fill out the form.

    Our situation:

I immigrated via a visa K1 and we got married on June 3rd.

My wife does not make the poverty line as she is looking for a job.

Her parents are both my sponsors. We are all living in the same home.

At the time, her Dad filled out the i-864 and her Mom the i-864a. They both largely meet the poverty line.

Neither my wife or I filled out an i-864 or i-864a.

I am very confused by this. Does my wife need to fill out the i-864, my father in law the i-864 and my mother in law the i-864a (of course with supporting documentation) ?

Thank you very much for your help.
