Removal of conditions can be filed as soon as the divorce is finalised, no need to wait the 2 years.

 

I did the same.  Was worried.  But I did it. I'm a citizen now. 

I have a letter from uscis confirming change of address too, last year in feb 2018.. I don't get it. I've been at my new address for a while..

When I called they said my address is exactly what I said whoever prepared the mail didn’t put the apartment number so the post office sent it back to USCIS

I self petitioned... under vawa waiver I'm not usc.. I'm approved resident. So confused what will happen.  What to do.. send ar11?

.Do I need to file citizenship while I wait? I hear vawa we can file as long as approved?

I went for an infopass, they stamped my ppt fort extension as I wait. They asked me to write a letter to Vermont, I did. Nothing even today.  My file was vawa waiver.. I don't know anything about the Congressman. 

I changed my address online last year but they still mailed to the previous address,  hence the card was not delivered and was returned to uscis. That was inn Feb. I filed an e-request, nothing to this date.  Please my people, what can I do. Online says they will destroy it by June if they don't hear from me.  What do do.? Help

I am the spouse of a US citizen thus we assume we do not need to include the $85. Could someone explain why the correct fee is $595+$85?

 

You are not a lawful permanent resident.. You are a conditional permanent resident, trying to remove the conditions..🤗

That's one year and a half.. oh my word!

I think its correct because it's going to count 10 years from the day of conditions was lifted..  i just don't know if time to file citizenship is affected, coz the system has data saved as to when you got your conditional one. Travelling should not be a problem. You have the other expired gc, extention letter plus passport if need be. Carry them with you.

You need to call uscis. They delayed mines but i kept calling until they mailed me a letter.  Then,  there was hurricane and the support centers were closed, they said they would reschedule. Oh my sweet Jesus,  i waited forever, i made an infopass. They agreed to do biometrics on me and my 12 yr old.  When i got home from the infopass,  voila!!!! the long awaited letter had arrived.. 3months of wait in total.. dont give up.  Your NOA date don't change.. RELAX. 

Hi members,  i was scheduled for biometrics on 13th september but due to hurricane Irma,  the Jacksonville center was closed. I called and they said they are setting new dates.  It's been a month of waiting for a another biometric appointment. I have been calling uscis and the representative gave me options including an infopass. So, a friend of mine has appointment at Jacksonville centre on 19th Oct, it's 2hrs drive for us. I was considering catching the ride for an infopass. When i came from work,  i found the biometric appointment letter for 24 Oct , what do i do.  I already had requested personal time at work and it's approved. I cannot take 2 days like that. I wanted to catch a ride, but i dont know if they will turn me away.

Hey y'all, i just received both our biometric letters today dated 26th August.  We are scheduled to appear at Jacksonville support center on 13th september.. Thank God.  Slow but sure! Update for me.

Noa1 dated 13th july and no biometrics appt still, i called yesterday morning, the representative  put a request on my file and said i should wait for 2wks., she also said not everyone requires biometrics, and i could be one of them🤔. i really don't wanna bother myself so much as long as i have an extention. Vermont is my center

I would call. Your NOA1 date is July 13th and it has been more than 30 days now. Almost all of us with NOA1s in the last week of July are still waiting for our biometrics letter but your NOA1 date even 2 weeks earlier. Many people with NOA1s in mid-July have already had their bio appt. If you call USCIS they can tell you whether they sent you an appt letter already or not. The 30 day mark from my NOA1 (July 26th) is on Friday this week. I will definitely call USCIS if I won't receive my bio letter by then.

These cases seemed to be totally random and there are only a very few, so it's not typical. Most people still need to have a bio appointment. My NOA1 date is July 26th and I will be calling USCIS when the 30 day mark has passed.

I will try to call today at 8am. Hopefully i don't need one... lol coz checking online my application support center is a long drive away. 🤔

Yes it was long, and worrying made it worse. Calling uscis is hell too. Im relieved now.  So i should call them about biometric?
