    If you ask a questions like "Do these pants make my butt look fat?" the correct answer would be something like, "Wow, yeah, for some reason those pants makes your butt look huge."

    Then you'll smile sweetly and say, "Thanks honey! I just wanted your 100% honest opinion!"

    Well I always thought it was only women who don't actually have big butts that ask this kind of question.....I mean if you have a big butt you don't need your man to tell you it isn't so, I have a mirror and use it :P

    Is this person an alcoholic?

    I guess it really boils down to whether it is causing difficulties in their every day life ... being a former bar manager I am used to seeing ppl drink much more than this on a daily basis and live perfectly 'normal' lives. There is a big difference between being a heavy drinker and an alcoholic.

    I don't think I will ever trust anybody 100%.....I have got better as I have gotten older I think. I would love to have the deep down assurance that many of you feel you have but I just can't give a 100%. I don't let it blight my life like I used to, because as it has been said mistrust can be very destructive in a relationship.

    I dunno how I'd react tbh. I have never cheated on anyone, nor has anyone ever cheated on me. I also previously had a set of 'dealbreakers' before I met D and was very cut & dry over how I'd react...I'd say exactly what's said in this thread 'oh he'd be packin his bags, no ifs ands or buts!'

    However, with D, I love him so much I can't see anything which would break us. I know categorically he'd never cheat on me...but he's taught me the meaning of commitment. Learning to love and accept someone fully, as he does you, all the while knowing we're all flawed individuals who make mistakes. Has he ever broken a dealbreaker? No he hasn't. But the level of commitment I feel towards him makes me know in my heart that I would fight tooth and nail to save my relationship with him through pretty much anything...even cheating...because I love him and he's my family. And I won't walk away from family.

    Of course, he's earned this commitment and love being the wonderful & respectful partner he is. I suppose it's a double edged sword cos without him honoring our relationship, I wouldn't feel as I do.
