Uscis sends official letter in the mail regarding the interview date right?

I just received my EAD card..you guys will b getting it soon aswell ?....

I did my biometrics on jan 5th... after a week and half my i485 status changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview and recently ead changed to card is ordered... im sure you will get update soon.. depends on state i guess...mine is MN

We too filed on Dec 5th and did the Fingerprint appointment a month later. However, on the USCIS Case Status website it says File Number is invalid.

When I can the USCIS Center they tell me there is a 'glitch in the system'...maybe like the Obamacare site....this after two months of filing....

I can check my case status with no problem...i think its a generic answer they give ppl when they call..wait a lil im sure it will be fine.

It doesn't say though when we can expect the interview notice. Has anyone else's changed too?

So I received the RFE letter.

1. First it asks for my husband's "complete Federal income tax return submitted to the IRS for the most recent year" - is this just a regular tax return report we print out of the IRS website? Or should we send other documents? (Btw, I obviously already sent it with the package).

2. Second request was for either assets or a joint sponsor because my husband didn't make enough for both of us. I will be sending 12-month bank statements from my bank account abroad, I will have a balance of about $100,000 because I just sold a condo. I'll be attaching the sale contract to prove where the money came from. Should be all set since it is 3x the difference that my husband couldn't make and I believe it was like $100.00 dollars. For real.

Any inputs will be very appreciated, thanks.

I sent my husbands 2013 irs transcript with last 6 months of his pay stubs.we did not send w2 coz with transcript it is usually not required.good luck I hope you don't get more rfe coz I know it sucks.

I filed it on dec 8th and received all my receipts on dec 12th

Rooshi and Mrs Hopkins did the website for case status show updated as far as bio metrics or is the website still the same and you guys received letters? Also Mrs Hopkins how did the biometrics go?

The case status says biometric fee accepted. . N I got the appointment letter on dec 26th

Have any other December filers received their biometrics appointment letter yet? I think I've only seen one. I thought we would have received ours by now, but still waiting.

I received my biometric app notice today.. sent out my app on dec 5th, received noa1 on dec 12th .. im sure u will get urs soon

Dec 8: Application recvd by USCIS

Dec 12: Text/e-mail of NOAs

Dec 18: Hard copy of NOAs

Dec 20: Biometrics appointment letter for 12/31

Dec 22: Walked in for biometrics

Well my husband failed to tell me he got 7 emails thinking it is the same he sent me one. It does have three different receipt number

Hmmm interesting. We got three seperate pages in three seperate envelopes with three seperate stamps.....ALL from the same address and dept....

I got my notification but it says it is for I 485 biometric fee. I did not get other receipts like most ppl got in this forum .. Hmmmm

They just cashed the checks... Should I be receiving the notifications soon?

Did u apply through adjustment of status?

Usually they deny your application because of wrong eligibility code and take ur fees, however you can send copy of notice of action letter of I-485 showing proof that it was paid with revised i765 of course. Talk to USCIS coz I have seen ppl do that when they made mistake in ead

The reason I did that is because I will change all my documents except for my passport in my married name and if I want to change my last name in greencard that is extra couple hundred dollars. Why spend extra

You can use any last name you prefer in your aos forms. I used my maiden name as middle name and took my husbands name in last name. My marriage certificate also shows my name with maiden and last name so that can be ur document forname change. Also they ask you for your other name used so you can use ur maiden name on that.

We sent our AOS packet on Dec 4th through USPS and it was delivered today Dec 8...now its a waiting game from here on.
