Similar letter just arrived from NSC, transferred from CSC. If presented with the expired green card (which ours was taken from us when we get the i-551 stamp so who knows), it is an 18-month extension to work and travel. No statue of liberty present on mine. I'm not up-to-date on the secret codes of the USCIS. Bad omen or just random?

It is hard to get an infopass appointment. Most people find a slot midnight or early morning. You need to wake up during those crazy hours to check an available slot for your appointment, Good luck.
Can anyone else share an experience with infopass? I had heard it was pretty easy until I read this post.

Applications by the numbers. I think its important that we all have this information while we wait for our cases to be resolved. Seems like all we can do is wait at this point...

Approvals are down but so are denials. Could it be that they are just sending way more folks to interview?

OK thanks for the input. Did anyone here get a definitive answer at biometrics appt? (As in...you're approved...we'll be sending the GC...or...you'll be receiving a letter about an interview)?
My wife's English is pretty good, but she could have missed a word like "You MAY have to do an interview". They didn't let me enter with her to find out, unfortunately.

One question everyone since our thread is already on fire today....
I keep reading that they are currently processing our cases but what exactly are we all waiting FOR? My wife believes to have understood that we will have to do an interview. I mean, after biometrics, it's either a) receive green card or b) do interview........right? Or am I missing something? Thanks

Hi vjer's
hope you're all well
has anyone received an update from USCIS...
I was kindly reassured that they ARE, in fact, within normal processing time. Oh well ... at least they didn't tell me we missed our interview appt

I was happy to find this group (March 2017 Removal of Conditions). My wife went in for her biometrics appointment on April 4. The guy told her in 3 to 4 months we would be receiving something about an interview.
Well, it is September 23 (almost 6 months later) and still NO word from USCIS. Is anyone else in this boat? Just needed to know how aggressive I should get with contacting/calling USCIS.Any advice/consolation would be much appreciated.
Ah, we are in South Carolina so we had to send to California Service Center (go figure).

Family members will help her check baggage at her home airport.
**And thank you for the link.

Thank you charro for your advice. Hypnos do you have experience in this area or are you just assuming? I ask because Ive had people respond negatively before on this board only to find out their advice us wrong.

Wife just had Cr-1 approved and will be traveling soon with our 4 month old daughter. I am worried about her having to enter immigration/customs by herself with our baby daughter and 2 big suitcases.
Does anyone know if an airport, particularly Ft Lauderdale airport, would give me special permission to enter this secure area to help my wife with the baby/bags?
To clarify I will not be traveling with her. I will just be meeting her at the airport. At Ft Lauderdale airport, you must pass through immigration, go to baggage claim and (most of the time) wait in a very long line with your suitcases in a secured area before you re-check them.

Unfortunately the above link doesn't address my question. Any other help out there? Is it possible to get out Cr-1 visa expedited due to my daughter's birth defect and subsequent need for medical attention in the US?

I'm a US citizen whose colombian wife just gave birth to a baby girl who was born with a cleft lip/palate. This was unexpected, and I'm wondering if there is a way to expedite my wife's visa to get treatment for my daughter in the US asap. The I-130 for my wife was approved and we are currently gathering the paperwork for the AOS and IV package at the NVC for the CR-1. We are searching for our best option. Any advice or redirection to a similar thread would be so very helpful.

Just opened my letter from USCIS and it looks to be a 12-month subscription to the Jelly of the Month club......
(Sorry just hoping a little classic American movie humor may lighten the disappointing mood for us CSC-->NSC transfers)
