My wife, an Indian citizen, just received her new passport in Oct 2014. For the Police Clearance Certificate, she visited the local police office and was issued a local police clearance certificate from superintendent office. My wife is from Indore, MP and has been living there for all of her life. My question is, is the local police clearance certificate acceptable to NVC authorities or they require a clearance certificate from the local passport office. Please help. Thanks
