i live in Miami (Florida) and i can tell you a lot they don't speak english, only spanish and they work everywhere... I can tell you that speak spanish make him have more opportunity, here i see they work also in Walmart, target, .... restaurant, sometimes it is needed to speak spanish, so be confident, it is more easy when you speak spanish even if your english is not enough.

Me i have receive my green card just yesterday in priority mail. It was happen to me one time they send my biometric but not delivery so it have take 2 week more and they send again my biometric.

When you call, keep the number they give you like record about your call.

Me too i was surprise and i have repeat 2 times to her that i have autorisation of work and she tell me we have see but it is not valid. So i didn't want bother more after said 2 times.

the job was not require citizenship, just regular job for all legal worker. But it is fine i have to continue search more and still i have to do my SSN.

And it is true i have apply for one job and she tell me i need the green card, i told her i give my EAD and she can't put me in this position since i don't have my greend card, so some opportunity can go so fast.

so when i read your post i realise it is normal , it is not only me.

I think if you received you EAD it is means they have accept your response for request for evidence.

Soon you will have interview.

I have received my EAD card exactly same time than you, but my interview was on january 20, maybe you will be sheduled soon.

Be patient, if they didn't accept, they send you new RFE.

i had a lot of doubt because i was not sur they accept but finally yes.

Be patient, it is will be fine if your wife have the minimum income required, this is what they want.

So recently my status is " welcome notice mailed", i don't know if the conditionel green card come in the same time or after.

Now i have to do security social number, i am still have to find job because i need work too.

between response review RFE and EAD card mailed it have take average 50 day.

yes i have receive my EAD finally one week before my interview, it is means middle week of 7 january 2015.

I was so surprise because i was waiting my interview 20 january and i have think i will never have EAD card.

and my EAD card start in 24 november 2014, so bizzar and i received only after 7 january.

if you have send your RFE and they accept it is will be ok, they send just very late.

I file AOS in august 2014 and EAD january, 5 month.

For information, they have finally accept my foreign asset, but in the interview she tell me i think you need co sponsor so it was a little trouble .... i explein her that it is writting in the instructions that the intendant immigrant can put his asset. and she see again, it was stress again and she say it is not enough... but i told her i put my ownership in Franc and she say ok i will see later.... but she make us worry and we have did n't know if it s will be approved.

So the tomorrow morning 21 january i see finally that it is approved in my statut online.

Situation was stress in the beginning to the end.

i hope you will receive very soon your EAD, i was exactly like you don't stop waiting , but it will be fine, they can't let you like this.

i would like share my experience yesterday about interview in Uscis.

Apointement 7:15 am, all go normal in the beginning but after i have a doubt.

She call my name, so i go..... she ask me about the forms, birthday, if i live with him, original birth certificate..... et she asked him more like his job, tax....

i give my medical examination also because i didn't before. she open the letter in front of me, she take the picture et keep in the folders for her.

..... and so evidence of bonafide marriage, we give joint account statement et picture. We don't have nothing more with the 2 name like no lease, no healthcare together.... i means all it is separate name, only the join account.

And she say, no it is not enough, i want more picture because 10 pics wa not enough for her, and she say i want a lease, car inssurance, healthecare.... all documentation even it is only the name of my husband. She say it is writting in the letter of the interview.

So i let her finish and i say but they say evidence relationship so it is means we have to take only the documents where there is the two name, she say no even if there is no the two name, he have to come with the lease.....

so i was surprise because i know what i have reading. So she say i send you a letter this afternoon for send me all this document even it is only his name, and you have 3 month to answer, we say ok and i say it will be fine he have all this.

and the tax she say it is not enough, you need a co sponsor. I say but i have put my saving account and ownership and it is writing that the intendant immigrant can do it. all is translate.

She say ok if it is french i can't read, so i say i have translate everything.

Then the interview finish and was a little bit sad, we go outside with my husband and i start think a lot. Isay but why in instruction it is writing at least one of evidence, so the joint acount it is enough, i dont understand, and also i know i have calculate the foreign saving acount .... i have respect all what the instruction it say in I-485. He say i have to put your name everywhere now and we wait her letter and that s it.

I was so sad.

And this morning suprise at 9 am , i see my status change " card ordered to be produce"

What it means, it is ok .

It is means yesterday we have stressed a lot and finally we have do all correct.

IT was so hard and so confuse situation, so i wish i will have soon my green card.

Me i have my healthcare insurance take from france i pay every month, i wanted try to use , but finally i didn't because it is medical examination for immigration and i don't think they will give me money back.

i have paid 180 dollars for all examination and vaccination.

But it is true they ask me if i have healthcare insurance, so it"s means it 's possible....

You know what i send the minimum they ask for, just joint account and all document they ask in the instructions of 485 and it is fine, it is enough.

The trouble was more for i-864 for me and normally we have find solution with my husband.

So don't worry if you have respect what they ask minimum.

I didn't say it is a big deal, i just said the instructions is clear, nothing else.

if you read the instructions of i-485 , you will see that you send more than what they ask for.

GO to uscis, forms 485 et read the instructions about the evidence they need, you will understand and it is what they want at least, they don't ask for more.

Maybe for the interview they can ask...
