yes we have already benefits statements from VA indicate how much he receive per month . i hope this will be okay. its my first time so we dont know so much about this. guys please help

Hi my husband income did not come up with the required income they needed. so my father in law will file joint sponsored to me since he make more money than my husband, he is a veteran (a retired US Navy) so he got check monthly from his SSI and from VA. But the monthly check he got from his VA is tax exempted is it possible that he will only show an paper coming from the VA how much he earn every month in his check and plus the income he got from the his SSI to show his proof og income to be my joint sponsor? i hope i can get any advice from you guys. thanks
