the interview was hard in the beginning, we do not why. but both was really confident in Got. and in the end we was fine and relax.

I hope every one in this chat get the approved soon. Got bless you

    Congratulations.

What do you mean by "hard in the beginning"?

  2. Exactly! Well I have checked on their website and they are processing those who have filed on February. I guess I have to wait for a few more months. Wheeeew! Likewise, I guess it also depends on your location too plus the volume of applications that they are handling. ???

According to the USCIS website, people who filed in April should be processed in December.

Does anyone have experience with multiple case inquiries? ;-) I am thinking of doing it again...

  3. Questions about Packet 3 (Live in Dusseldorf, Applying DCF Frankfurt I-130 for Japanese wife also residing in Germany):

Just received our notice in the mail from the USCIS in Frankfurt that the I-130 for my wife was approved. Wondering what's the next step? USCIS now sends the case on to the Immigrant Visa unit at the consulate?

I've read about all the documents to prepare for Packet 3. Will the case number/Packet 3 info come in the mail or will the consulate in Frankfurt email info about the next step?

Appreciate any help with these questions. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer. This site has been so helpful with this process!

It should come in the mail.

I am not sure now, but I think I received an email about it.

  4. Likely an American fiancé

Unless he was unable to show ties to the UK, maybe.

If he files for a K1, then there is a really good chance he's going to be denied a B1/B2 Visa. If he already has a B1/B2 then he'll most likely be turned away at the POI. If he's already here, then you could file for an AoS. I know a lot of people that do that.

Your information is totally wrong! I filed a petition for K1 and 1-2 months later filed for B1/B2 and was approved and legally entered the US another month later for 6 months while awaiting K1 approval.

Btw. the B1/B2 visa was approved in London. However, (not being a UK citizen) I had strong ties to England as I was working for the NHS.

    Good luck in trying!

  5. 1. Don't book flights until there are valid travel documents.

    2. What was the reason for the denial of ESTA?

    3. K1 will take some time and therefore he should not attempt to board his upcoming flight (without valid travel documents) as customs will not let him into the US.

    4. A good idea is to apply for a B1/2 visa for temporary travels.

There is no guarantee that he will receive any type of visa for the US. That all depends on previous history with US immigration.

    Good luck!

  6. Hi everyone,

on November 2, 2015 I filed an inquiry for my AOS.

    As a response I received:

USCIS will review and process the request

    Expect a reply by November 24, 2015

So far, so good. Unfortunately, I have checked USCIS everyday and noticed that the case has NOT been assigned until 2 days ago. I say 2 days, because since that my account has been LOCKED. And whenever I want to log in, I receive the following message:

    Account Locked

Your account has been locked for one of the following reasons:

    • Account inactivity.
    • Too many unsuccessful login attempts.

Don't tell me any "smart" comments that I have to reset my password, as I have done this at least 15 times now. And every single time I get this beautiful message that my account is blocked.

Does anyone have similar problems? And if so, maybe a solution?

    Thank you!

  7. Hi Frewchen,

Could you tell me what the CEAC is? Is this the traveldocs.com site?

Or is it another site that I can check?

How did you know that your file had arrived in Frankfurt?

And how long did you wait for packet 3?

Sorry for all the questions !

    Try: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

I was able to get a hold of the tracking number, but also I received an email from Frankfurt.

After the embassy received the files, it was around another week for everything.

    Good luck!

  8. my fiancee just filled applicaion for k1 visa so they said please bring mariage certificate,is it normal help plz sorry for bad english

    To clarify for you guys:

What they mean is that IF you were married before (but you are not, you said), you need to send PREVIOUS certificates. You only send it, if it is applicable. But NOT in your case.

    You can simply ignore it.

Not to be mean about it, but it seems you may need a little bit assistance with filling out the paperwork. Ask someone whose english is much better to help fill out the forms. You really don't want to make any mistakes, because this will always delay the entire process.

    Good luck :)

  9. Although my waiting time has not been as long as yours, I filed an inquiry online on Nov 2nd.

Until now it has not been assigned either, and I believe it won't happen any time soon. What helps is to call USCIS and hope to speak to a competent TIER-2 officer. I had similar problems with my EAD and after multiple calls someone was pretty competent to expedite the inquiry.

  10. This entire process is so discouraging.

My NOA date is April 7th 2015.

    Biometrics April 27th 2015.

Not only did I have to call USCIS multiple times and speak to a TIER-2 because my EAD/AP was not processed.

It finally got approved after 98 days when I demanded to expedite the case after the normal processing time of 90 days. Really, nothing is moving in this process. I am sure they do have a big load of documents to go through, but that is not an excuse to not handle it. There are many solutions to it.

It's been over 7 months now...if you receive a potential interview waiver letter, why not waive it right away? Obviously someone has looked at the papers. It's really painful and annoying.

  11. You unfortunately seem to be the one that is naive believing VJ data is actually as comprehensive and as accurate as software program mining real data from USCIS. But ditto... thanks for the pointers ;) despite having never having seen an ImmiFairy report you are categorically dismissive of it!

Data people get it, I don't know why those who don't automatically discard it. I'm with you, I prefer to know day to day to stop me from going crazy. I also have a timeline for things in my life... like my lease is expiring in August and I'm trying to decide whether I have to renew or not. Based on the July ImmiFairy data thus far, I'm probably going to renew month to month as February hasn't really taken off yet. It's really been a money-saver and sanity-saver.

    1. The website claims to be mining data - How do you know it's real USCIS data? There is no description about how this works.

    2. How do you know I've never seen a report?

    3. I am not telling anyone what to do with their money.

    4. Approvals and timelines are case-dependent. Even if your case is clear, you will have no influence of on how quick a case will be approved. And a paid report will be as good as free information from the USCIS website.

    5. I am just saying that majority of the people DO NOT pay for a report, as it is not necessary and more or less waste of money (IMO).

Good luck to everyone on your journey :)
