Got the oath letter in the mail today and just as the tier 2 officer said, I'm scheduled for May 4th at 9:15 AM :) :) Curiously though, the letter was sent from the San Francisco office and not from the National Benefits Center in Missouri. I think they sent it from the local office since I was scheduled on short notice. I'll update everyone on how the oath ceremony went

hi alanandmaria, how do you ask the uscis tier 2 for the schedule? i called them becuase my status said its in the mail but no mail yet

does anyone know what is the timeline for oath letters to be sent out from the date of interview?

my interview was a looong one. the officer asked if my husband is with me. he was at work so she grilled me on my outside US travel without my husband. She asked for my trips (i did not memorize all the dates of my trips) but it was stated on the form. PLEASE BRING OLD PASSPORT if you renewed one. She also asked for the CA ID, and green card.

this was the weirdest question : my husband is divorced so she asked if i know the ex wife's birthday! i said no, i dont know because why should i? lol

she asked me almost the whole form itself, including my birthday, my address, all those yes or no questions on the form.

for the verbal and written, she wanted an answer word for word. the question was: what is an amendment to constitution- i answered, its a change or addition , she said that;s incomplete so i got really confused because its the right answer, i repeated the answer and this time i said, a change (to the constitution) and / or an addition to the constitution. she said correct. --- hahahaha

the questions are preset on a sheet of paper, i got ALL answers correct so I did not have any problem. my oath is in march 30.. hopefully u dont get her as your interviewer, she was definitely tripping,

My child is outside the US and I can apply for citizenship this year. My question is whether I should petition him now as a permanent resident or wait until next year when Im already a Citizen? (given naturalization is about 4-6 months).

I just went to the address and gave them the slip and id. They didn't ask me why Im early. I went in the day I got it in the mail (early walk in , not early bio sorry! lol)
