We get approved on November 9th and nothing yet too :( :(

I called to NVC today and rep said they have not received our case yet :( It has been 30 days today.

Hope we will get our case numbers soon!!!

  2. still waiting...

it takes a while to load up on the website...

A few minutes ago they updated USCIS.

Here is what it says "On November 9, 2015, we approved your Form I-130,..... We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice."

What does it mean??? I already have this approval letter in my hands for 3 weeks now.

    still waiting...

it takes a while to load up on the website...

checked mail and nothing yet

Hope you will get approval soon.

  3. Congratulations!!!

Did you get email or text message from them?

My case was approved November 9th but there still no updates on the website. I called to NVC and USCIS and none of them know where my case is now. :( The USCIS rep told me that it may take up to 90 days to transfer case to NVC but NVC rep told me if I will not get anything in 35 days I need to send email to NVC research center.

Something is wrong with Potomac center L

  4. CHEER UP FAMILY! MY PETITION HAS BEEN APPROVED... :joy::dance::joy:

My case was transferred from the Nebraska service center to the Potomac service center on Oct. 16, 2015. Just went to check my PO BOX an hour ago and found the NOA2 approval letter. It was approved on Nov. 18, 2015, so I guess it arrived 2 or 3 days ago. Don't loose hope, I bet your cases are going to be approved soon. My case took 4 months and 4 days to get approved. Also my mom has been assigned a green card alien number. :joy::jest:

If your case was transferred to the Potomac service center, that means your lucky, your processing times will speed up. Our immigration consultant initially told us that the hole process will take longer (aprox. 14-18 months) due to the heavy workload at the processing centers, but back then the Potomac service center wasn't open yet.

I'm so happy to know that I may soon bring my mom to live with me here in California, haven't seen her in 5 years. :)

Oh, another thing, don't rely on the online status check, It hasn't been updated to the latest information

    Congratulations!!!!!!!

My petition was approved 11/09/15 and PD 7/9/15

Did they send message or email to you? Did they update myUSCIS?

I got only letter. Still no updates on my USCIS.

    Good luck

  5. On the 3rd it was approved. I got a text message saying they updated my case status on Nov 12. I went online and it said it was sent to the department of state on a email too. And I called everyday from the 12 asking if they got my case and on the 19 they got it.. Now I'll keep calling until I get a case number even though they said it'll take up to 45 days. They said up to 35 for them to receive it, it didn't take 35 so I hope it doesn't take 45 for a case number.

    Haha thanks to you. :)

Thank you and good luck :)

  6. My lawyer just emailed me our I-797, notice of action letter today. The letter states they "sent the original visa petiton to NVC" and allowe a "minimum of 30 days to start contacting NVC if we haven't received any correspondence". So even though my online status on USCIS still says my case was approved, is it safe to say that our case has been sent to NVC??

    Hi!

I got letter that my case was approved but USCIS still says "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction". Now, I do not know where is my case :(

  7. I hate when they say to wait and call back thats what I kept getting for about two weeks. I even called on the 19th and they told me to wait and call back in 35 days. I called the next day it said it was received, and for my case number it could take up to 45 days to get. Lets hope it doesn't take that long for any of us. All we can do is hope and pray it goes faster and smooth for all of us.

    Hi Shala6.!

My I-130 was approved on November 9 but myUSCIS still does not show that my case was approved. Did they update your USCIS?

Thanks for your time and good luck!

  8. Dears ,

i started my DS 260 application as requested by the embassy but once i enter the case number and my birth of date i get this error :

by the way , i still didn't print my CGI slip so i still didn't pay and i don't have an invoice ID , why the message is telling Invoice ID although i didn't write any.

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance

    Thanks

    watzmann

    Hi watzmann!

How long did it take for you to get your case and invoice number from NVC?. Did you already do the police report?

    Thank you!

  9. Today my husband had his CR1 interview. He had to wait close to 5 HOURS before it was finally his turn, but when he was called in to talk with the consulate, he wasn't asked even one question. We went through a K1 visa process in 2014, then back for CR1 now (long story), When he went in, he saw it was the same person who interviewed him for the K1. The consulate smiled and said, "Welcome back. We meet again!" then he told him, "Congratulations! You're on your way back to your wife! I hope this time everything works out great." and then gave him back our evidence of relationship that we sent to USCIS and NVC, and the approval document. My husband was baffled that he wasn't asked even one question! God is great! I'm so thankful we're approved! I have to keep pinching myself! Thank you to everyone who prayed for us! <3

    Congratulation!!!

  10. Hi July filers!

My case was transferred to Potomac center October 16th.

I was out of the city for a week, but I always checked myUSCIS and there was no update. I came home today and found NOA2 in the mail. My petition has been approved. Receipt Date 07/10/15 Notice Date 11/9/15.

I hope everybody who got transferred to Potomac will get their approval soon !!!

PS. Checked myUSCIS today, last update was 10/16/15

  11. Guys, I called USCIS today, automatic machine said my case was transferred to Nebraska lincoln but I rceived two same hard letters saying that my case was transferred to Potomac Service Center. I spoke to rep he could not find anything for Potomac. He said to call in two weeks by then they should have updated info. :crying:

I called too and automatic machine said same thing, Lincoln Nebraska.

In a five months time frame, July files should get approval in December. Hope our case transfer will not delay the approval date.

  12. I just wrote them and asked them about it. Mine got transferred there as well. Hopefully are cases will get started on soon

Hi, my case was transferred to Potomac too.

Did you get anything back from them? I was searching online, but could not get any info. :(

I hope we will not need to wait for five more months from the day they transferred case.

    Good luck on your journey!!!

  13. Hey did you guys got an alien number assigned to your beneficiary when you got your notice letter about the transfer to potomac?

Because in the notice letter that I received 2 days ago, my mom was already assigned an alien number in this format: A123456789. They would only assign you a green card alien number only if they are going to approve your application right?

So far what I have read, is that the Potomac Service Center was going to process the DAPA applications, but that was suspended and it may take 2years to start receiving those apps, meanwhile they will be helping out the other 4 service centers with their work load on immigration petitions. The Potomac service center started operations last august, so It might be good news that our cases were transferred. It seems that they are only tranferring recent filers back from july to present. I'm expecting to have my case approved anytime before mid january, so lets see what happens.

    Hi Cristian,

There was not "A" number on the notice I received.

  14. Hi everybody!!!

My NOA was July 9, 2015 Nebraska Service Center.

Received message on October 15, 2015 that my case was transferred to another USCIS office.

    Still have not received letter.

Called to NSC today, when i entered my LIN number, automatic machine said that my case transferred to Lincoln Nebraska.

Did anybody get the same message?

    Thank you for your time.

Hope everybody will get their case approval soon.

  15. Hi everybody !

My case was in Nebraska too (CR1)

My NOA1 was March 4, 2015 and in the 3rd week of July, the date changed to January 16, 2014...

I was very worried too, and July 20 my husband called to UCSIS and they said that every case is different, that it´s not neccesary to look that date, so we try to be patient and our I-130 was approved in 2 days after the call !!!

So dont get stressed, because my case was approved in 4 months and a half.

Just believe with all your heart that you will get your approvals soon.

    Good luck and blessings !!!

Thank you. I hope it will be not as long as they said.
