I called NVC and found out my Case number. (I did not receive any letter from NVC Yet). I checked in "https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?"and saw my status is "AT NVC" they said it will take couple of more weeks to go to London embassy. I would like to know what can I do in the mean time, while they are taking couple of more weeks to send it to the embassy?

1. When do I fill out DS -160 form? do I need to fill out any other form (such as DS-260 or anything else).
2. How many form I need to fill out?
3. When can my fiance make appointment for medical checkup?
4. what are the fee we have to pay before facing interview?
5. Do I need to send NOA 2 to my fiance?

If anyone can suggest me, who went through this process before me. Thank you in advance.

I am in your shoes as well. I applied for K1 visa on January 2015 and I am still waiting for NOA2. I opened service request on September and they said I have to wait for 45 days to get response back. I am still waiting for that. Every time I call them USCIS says my case is pending and some one it looking into it. I don't know what else to do after all these. This is obviously frustrating and unacceptable. I don't know how long we have to suffer like this.

I am also in same situation. I applied on January 2015 and did not get any update, then I had to open an Service Request. I was told it will take about 45 days to get an answer. which is mid of November. It is so frustrating and and worried.every time I call them the says its in process. I don't hear anything else beside that. Good luck with your case. I need good luck as well. Please update us here if you get any update from USCIS.

I have received my NOA1 on January 12th and still waiting for NOA 2. Its more than 8 months. Every time I called, their answer is "your case is in progress, don't worry" you will find about your cases status from below link. its so frustrating....

I have a question about how we meet in person question 34.a in I-129f form. When I meet my Fiancé, my previous marriage divorce case was still in process. Recently I received my final divorce decree. Now I would like to bring her in USA by K1 visa. we did get engaged last year while my divorce case was in process. My question is should I mention in the description of question 34,a, that I got engaged with my fiancé? Would that raise any doubt or question that why did I get engaged while my divorce case was in process. Should I mention that we are engaged or not? and should I submit any photography of our engagement? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

I was married once. our marriage did not work out. so we started to living separate. while we are living separate My ex wife started to see some one and I found my soul mate as well. We filled for divorce and it is back logged for 2 years. After 2 and 1/2 years later our marriage ended. We want to get married to our new partner.

The person I meet she does not live in USA. I meet her 2 years ago and we decided to get married recently. so I would like to bring her here(USA) through Fiancée Visa (K1). Now my question is, should I mentioned that I know my fiancé for last 2 years. would that be a question why I meet someone while my divorce case was on? can I show all the proof that I meet her 2 years ago and we are still in close relationship and we intend to marry each other.

I am preparing my paper works for K1 visa. I am concern about the question 34.a (how I meet my Fiancée). should I mentioned that I know her for 2 years? I went to visit her 4 times within 2 years.

Any suggestion ?
